A most enjoyable stay. Bedda is a very fine host.

We spent a very comfortable couple of nights at Our House. The other guests were considerate and had no problems sleeping or using the facilities when needed. The kitchen was well supplied for whatever you may need to cook with. Should we return to Iceland, Our House will be our first choice for accommodations.

This is the ONLY place you should consider staying. Bedda, the owner is an adorable little firecracker that is more than happy to talk and laugh with you and give you great advice on Reykjavik. The facilities are so charming (discoball in the bathroom anyone?) and modern beautiful.Having traveled all around the world, this is my favorite place I've stayed. It feels like a second home. to make quick friends over breakfast! Plus it's centrally located! 6 out of 5 stars. Wish I could say more!

it was the best place at iceland for us after 15 other places and in general one of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed. we've been part of the family and the ambient is outstanding. ..perfect end of our holiday

One of the best hostels I have stayed at - very central location, very nice facilities including a sauna and deck (great for seeing the northern lights!) and lots of variety for breakfast. Last but certainly not least, Ernesto the caretaker was so helpful and nice. He was always ready to give advice about our stay in Iceland and practically wrote our entire driving itinerary outside of Reykjavik - and his recommendations were excellent. Thoroughly recommended!

Highly recommend, staying here was a big part of making my visit to Iceland very enjoyable. So helpful as well. I needed to see a doctor and with Bedda's help it was really straightforward and stress free.

"Our House" is aptly named. It felt like we had a home in Reykjavik--a comfy, hip home with an old-school record player, a big jacuzzi bath, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen. Ernesto, the caretaker of the house, is a friendly guy who knows everything about Iceland; he helped us design our awesome road trip to the south.

This is, hands-down, the best hostel I have ever experienced. I am already planning my next trip back to Reykjavik, and I will undoubtedly be staying at Our House!

Absolutely a fantastic place ! The location was perfect, right beside the great big church in Reykjavik. The owner Bredda is one of the nicest people I have met and she made us feel right at home ! The atmosphere is great and the house is extremely clean. The jacuzzi tub and sauna were a great to use after a cold day exploring Iceland. I will be back to this hostel again , and again ! The best I have ever stayed in !

Absolutely the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Bedda is amazing and there is everything you could possibly want - she has thought of everything! Really cosy in dark winter evenings and couldn't beat the location! Thank you so much!

I can't say enough good things about 'our house'. It was perfect in every way, it had everything and anything you could possibly want, perfect location, homely and wonderful. And Bedda, the owner so so very friendly. We had planned to be elsewhere for Christmas but came back to 'Our House' because we loved it so much. You'd be silly to stay anywhere else.
