Very friendly hostel. I am an overseas Filipino who wanted to know both Manila and the Philippines better, and the staff helped with both. They helped me plan a trip to Cebu and Bohol. I enjoyed the central location that allowed me easy access to all the people and places that most interested me, even though the exact location of the hostel was not on the cleanest street. Grace, Jhie, Fiona, and (Ate) Betty - too adorable! Good free breakfast. Small, but gives you what you need.

I'm very glad that I had the opportunity to stay at OMP. This has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who are happy to assist in whatever way they can. It's also a nice place to socialise with fellow travellers. There is a great lounging and kitchen area and even a open space on the roof which is perfect for a drink and a chat. Highly recommended!

at first i was hesitant to enter the building due to the construction going on but glad to i did and stayed longer than i booked; friendliest & helpful staff ever; coolest guests encountered; satisfying breakfast, most comfortable bed and nice shower; rooftop was perfect for drinking beer with pizza during the night; I'll definitely recommend you to friends .... Muchas Gracias OMP!

Thank you for the review. There's more to come for OMP. The hostel as it is now is only at the 1st phase of evolution. As of this writing, we are still building the game room and the garden breakfast corner at the 5th floor and then mid of this year and our restobar at the rooftop! More private rooms coming up too in the next few months.

Very clean, new building, with excellent staff. I've heard bad reviews of Manila, but I had a great time. This is the sort of town where you need a great hostel to relax at in between jaunts about the city. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

OMP is a very nice hostel. Number 2 on my personal list of hostels in Manila. The accommodations are really comfortable and the guest that stay seem real cool. The staff is very nice and polite too. It is close acouple of malls and a slew of clubs if that's your thingand restaurants. Presently they are doing construction in the building so at times it is not convient to enter and exit the building. But over all not bad.

My room adjoined the common room. The walls are thin. I couldn't sleep until the last conversation ended, which was often after 1am. Most hostels have a time where conversations must be quiet, like 11pm. This one doesn't. Guests would return at 3am, drunk and loud. The OMP space is small. All the more reason to have a policy in place that lets the non-partying guests get a good night's sleep. Oh, and they should put in the ad that the building is being renovated. Dusty and noisy.

This hostel is very clean, has friendly and integrating staff and it's great that it's open 24/7. If you arrive at 4 am in the morning they will still let you in. I absolutely recommend it!

I stayed for 2days at Our Melting pot, very clean and new, I particularly liked that every bunk has a curtain around it and a draw underneath. It's in a safe area with restaurants, bars and shopping centers near by. The staff were excellent and comes with free breakfast. A little hard to find but the cab drivers on the corner steered me in the right direction. Everyone was so friendly, I would definitely go there again.

This is a great hostel and a real treat when staying in Manila. It is extremely clean, really relaxed and a great place to hang out and meet people. It's not massive party hostel which is a good thing but you can always find people who want to go out and party if that is what you looking for. What really sets this hostel away from other hostels is the staff, they are amazing and go out their way to make you feel at home. Thanks Grace, Ronald and all staff. Its worth the money

I recently stayed in OMP in January and had a great time. I understand that they have recently moved into the building so there was a bit of confusion with my taxi-driver trying to find the exact location, as it's actually across the road from Avenue Suites. However, it was spotlessly clean, had comfortable beds with individual curtains and nice showers too. The staff are wonderful, and the organised nights out are great if you are travelling on your own, as I was. All in all a huge thumbs up!

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hostel. It's in a new location. The hostel itself is on the 4th floor in a building that's still being renovated. From the outside I was a bit skeptical about the hostel at first, but then when I walked in I was blown away by how clean, organize the layout is and how cool and friendly the hostel was. On my 1st day Gracy took us out to TAAT Volcano. it was fun. The hostel has lockers, and big clean showers. OMP is the best hostel to stay at in Manila.

This place rocked! First, since I drove, they were on the phone with me helping me find it. Second, they have a security guard on the ground floor. Third, they had a new years bash!! I could keep going - but this place is clean, very homey, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Met Ronald, one of the owners, and he gave us some great pointers! I met a ton of people here too - so the atmosphere was definitely amazing. I loved it here - my next stay in Manila will definitely be at OMP! Thanks

Spend NYE at our Melting pot and the staff really put the effort into it that we all had a great time that night, with a free beer rooftop party and bringing us to the places to be that night. A brand new hostel, very clean, good facilities/beds and great staff, things which are definitely not for granted in the Philippines...
