Super friendly staff. Free water/juice on arrival, and the breakfast is huge - banana, bread (good roll, not just sliced white sandwich bread like hostels normally have), cereal, coffee/tea, and cup of noodles all provided. The dorms are very dim and small but each bed has a curtain for privacy. During my stay a lot of people hung out in the lobby and went to a bar downstairs together, so it was a cool atmosphere too. Recommended.

Staff really helpful and friendly. Clean and our double room was really nice, more like a hotel than hostel. Wifi didn't reach our room and wasn't very strong in the common area when everyone was using it. Overall would recommend.

This was one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Manila is not an easy city to navigate alone and the staff at OMP were brilliant for helping with advice on using jeepneys, haggling for taxi's and safety if you are going to brave the metro or the city by yourself. There was a great free tour of old Manila from the hostel and the breakfast is well worth getting up for. There was free wifi and plenty of opportunities to meet other travellers in the common area - amazing value all round.

First of all tremendous staff ;) . You can't imagine how great they are unless you stay one night there!!! one of the best. Excellent place to meet new people and to make new friends. This hostel offer a real breakfast. If you are lucky to had the opportunity to visit this place, do not miss the Old Manila City tour !!! I really appreciate their excellent hospitality :)

I stayed 2 times at that place. the staff is among the friendliest I've met ! you can ask them anything, they're always here to help, the owner is a very nice person. I felt like home there. they do free walking tour, the location is great, and it's pretty cheap considered you're right in Makati. definitely the hostel I would book for my next trip to Manila !

Not a bad place, bit noisy, but then it is central and construction in Philippines is 24/7 - nice staff, especially Reece, nice bloke willing to assist and quite friendly. Even the 7/11 is friendly welcoming customers in the door - where do you get that in the world! Never had breakfast, was too hungover - cheap beer in Manila, the night market outside is excellent place in the evening to listen to music/eat food/cheap beer and the guy's Louis Armstrong 'What a wonderful world' impresssion

The staff is amazing! So helpful to everyone and they're answering every single question and give tips for the area around the hostel as well as for other parts/islands of the Philippines. I enjoyed my stay there, they really make you feel like home away from home. And there's a nice breakfast for free also. I definitely will recommend this hostel :)

What made our stay at Our Melting Pot so good wasn't that the facilities itself was very luxurious, the facilities were clean and you had what was needed, but where this hostel really made a difference was in the staff. The staff at this hostel did stuff way beyond what was expected from them, they helped us out with problems that definitely wasn't something they had to. On top of this they gave us a free tour around the area, as well as helped us find a place to stay after we left.

The hostel itself and staff were great. If noise bothers you, don't stay here. My friend was really bothered by the music coming in from outside (on Saturday night). The staff was very accommodating, offering us different rooms, but they were still pretty loud. Personally, the noise didn't bother me and I think OMP is a good hostel.

OMP has felt like home on each of the three occasions we stopped over in Manila! Facilities are very clean and the lounge area is great for meeting fellow travelers, breakfast is yummy but the staff is what makes this place unique! They're all extremely friendly and accommodating, Ronald is like a walking travel guide when it comes to the Philippines and his experience was invaluable in helping us plan our journey. This is surely the best hostel I've stayed in through 4 months of travel!

Staying at OMP was a fantastic experience...It provides a safe and comfortable place to stay and the staff are very helpful, polite and friendly to their guests. They can give you great advice on where to go and what to do in Manila. I have stayed at the hostel for nearly two months now and can only praise the running of the hostel. The hostel is clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi is excellent, also computers which guests can use free of charge. Healthy breakfast! Free Day tours! Great location!
