We LOVED the hostel, location, but most especially Grace and Rolley. All of the employees go above and beyond to assist the guests. We stayed with our 4 children ages 14,12,10 and 8 and they all loved it. We also really appreciated the walking tour that given by Raymond and Grace....very fun and factual. We learned a bit about old Manilia and Jose Rizal. The hostel was the best run hostel we have ever stayed in.

We only stayed here for 1 night on the last day of our trip, but the place was nice and clean. We had a private room that was decorated really cute, the bed was comfortable, and the room had good, functioning aircon. The staff was helpful with any questions that we had. The music across the street was a little noisy but didn't keep us from sleeping at all.

Nice facility and wonderful staff that are available 24 hours a day. We left at 4am and they even gave us breakfast! The sheets had stains on them unfortunately. The private room was quite small, which was fine for our short stay. The hostel had day trip sign-ups at the front desk which is a great plus to meet people and go out and see the city! The outside noise was unbearable! It was like being in a club, the music was so loud we thought our window was open. The music finally stopped at 3:30am

Owner Comment (Show)
It's a party at the roof deck which did not have the appropriate permits that caused severe disturbance. We immediately filed a formal complaint about this which resulted in the suspension of operations at the floor right above us. We sincerely apologize.

You guys are the most helpful and accommodating hostel staff I've ever encountered. I have no suggestions for improvement, other than that you keep up the spectacular work. Thanks again!

We only stayed here one night since our flight was changed and we had to spend a night in Manilla that we hadn't planned on. Although we weren't too excited about missing another day on the beach, this hostel made our one-night stay one of the best of the trip. The staff were very welcoming, we met a lot of cool people there, and the night market across the street made for a great night of food, music, and cold beer. I actually wish we could have stayed a few more days thanks to OMP!

The staff were friendly, bathrooms & showers clean & nice hot water! Female dorm was nice but mixed one was dirtier, and the beds not as nice. The staff offer free tours of Manila and organise trips to Tagaytay if there are enough people keen to go, which is a great. The location is good but entrace is through a restaurant and dark stairwell which isnt too welcoming at night. Lift was broken too so you have to lug your bag up to 4th floor. Nice breakfast and all in all a pretty decent hostel.

Great time staying at Our Melting Pot while in Manila. Great staff and a good place to socialize with other travelers. They even had a free guided city tour one of the days I was there. Well done guys!

Lots of noise from the street market across the street. Other than that, a very nice hostel.

Had a fantastic stay. They offer a free city tour to go out and explore Manila also many other tours and pub crawls. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accomodating ~ we really felt at home and welcome. They have a security guard on the door so we always felt safe and secure.

Thought this was a great place to stay, and though I was only there for 1 night, it seemed like a very fun, welcoming environment for travelers and guests to stay in. Really enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anyone!

Its nothing special but it is alright. Its not too far from the airport and bus stations, and there is some nightlife nearby. The staff is helpful and the place is clean. Its a good place to meet travelers too. Not that bad of a place I guess but I don't know if I'd stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at OMP. I arrived from my flight at 3 am and the staff was so helpful greeting me in the early morning. The dorm rooms are very comfortable with air con and curtains for each bed. The bathrooms are clean. Nice common space and free computers are available. My only complaint was the price. I felt it was a little expensive for a dorm room and found less expensive on my return trip to Manilla.

I thought the staff were very helpful and friendly but I do think the dorm rooms were a little over priced especially the 4 bed female dorm behind reception, which was very noisy because it backed onto a very busy external stairwell, which also led to a bar on the next floor. A great place to meet people and had a nice atmosphere.
