If you want to go out and party, this is the place to stay. You will meet a lot of people! Great atmosphere. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, not very nice rooms/dorms... If you are just looking for a calm and clean place to stay then opt for the MNL Boutique Hostel, which is just 200 m away.

Really Nice placa to stay, i strongly recommend it! Not fare from the air port and in a saw and nice neighbourhood! Only negative aspect will be the single room are next tithe living room and people were talking to 2am so it was hard to sleep.

The tour of old Manila was excellent and interesting. However, the owner gave terrible advice on taking a coupon cab from the airport, instead of a meter cab. The coupon cab ride from the airport to the hostel cost me 1.450 pesos. When I told the owner of the hostel about my situation, she blamed me for being stupid. She should stick to running the hostel and not give out bad advice on taxi transportation.

What with a quite filling free breakfast, free tours of the old city, and just very charming, outgoing staff, this place is if anything hospitable. Sadly, it happens to be located right next to a night market that has very loud music going on 'till the wee hours of the morning... minding, if you're staying in Manila, you're probably going on to the wee hours of the morning, as well! Anyway, if you're passing through Manila, this is the place to stay.

Nice location, very close to airport!! Good district !!

Breakfast could be improved on the non-pancake days

Located in the heart of Makati, you can't really beat the location. Given how bad traffic always is in Manila, it makes going to/from the airport easier and cheaper. The staff is friendly, laid-back, and helpful. The included breakfast is simple but filling. The bathroom/washroom area was kept clean. The only problem was with the wifi. You keep losing the network every couple of minutes. Don't know if this was fixed or not. And they have an awesome free walking tour you shouldn't miss!

Great place to stay.... free breakfast, free tour around manila, warm and welcoming staff. Location is very close to shopping malls.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The free walking tour is definitely worth doing. Make sure to ask if you want to do a trip to the Taal volcano as the signs are a little confusing. There were lockers and the showers were hot and the bathrooms clean. The breakfast was nice. A lovely hostel with really excellent staff.

This is a brilliant hostel for meeting people and for getting to know Manila. The free walking tour is really informative and well worth joining. I love that each bunk bed has a curtain for privacy and its own power socket for charging electronic devices. Overall, a really nice, clean place with good vibes. The staff are lovely and helpful, if perhaps a little less outgoing than the crew that worked here during my stay a few years ago. This hostel is well worth a stay for anyone visiting Manila.
