Cool place...free walking tour's a must! Some of the staff are more helpful than the others, but none of them are rude.

Good location and easy to find. Free breakfast is a nice touch

Great stay here, the neighborhood is a 24/7 busy street so don't expect real calm but... can you really expect this anywhere in Manila? Place is nice, well situated and staff is really gentle. Enjoy your stay!!

Worth staying to go on the free tour no catches. Atmosphere excellent because so highly rated so everyone goes there. Close to all the bars and clubs if noise bothers you book the deluxe I vadvance but was fine for me and stayed for a week. Breakfast very generous but the biggest highlight is the manager owner who is always present. Introduces everyone and is th font of all knowledge makes the place really cool. Wifi excellent and hot showers.

Go on the free walking tour. It's awesome.

Better signage would make finding the place much easier. Also, ignore the directions about the side metal door and the lift... The alleyway door is locked and the lift looks like it hasn't been in use for quite some time. Apart from that, a pleasant stay. I would recommend.

The first place I've been in the Philippines and felt like home from the first moment. All the staff are so helpful and welcoming. Got a free tour guide with Michelle "Ice" :) in Intramuros and it was great. I will definitely come back if I go back to Manila and recommend it to everybody.

i stayed in the 2 bed dorm and the noise from the nightclub close by was unbearable until it closed at 2.30. when you arrive in the city you need sleep! i couldnt close the window and there was a gap which prob let some of the noise through. ear plugs did not even drown the noise!! stayed elsewhere when returning back through to manila on way south and then on way home. otherwise the hostel was ok. as i couldnt sleep til after 2.30 on both nights i was unable to try breakfast.

Stayed here twice and loved it. They are very helpful suggesting things to do in the Philippines and will help organize local tours. It's also really easy to meet people at the hostel if you're traveling alone. A great place to start your trip and it's very clean (a luxury you'll miss at some other hostels in the country). Only complaint is the doors on the showers are very low so tall people walking by can peer over :s

only seen this hostel, but it must be the best in town! thats how a hostel should be like...large community room and kitchen, friendly stuff and a owner who is like a mother for all of us! was just amazing, funny, and the atmosphere in the hostel and in the night on the rooftop was amazing! GO there, u will have a great time for sure! :) no more words needed :D

The hostel is really nice and cozy. It has it's own comfortable atmosphere either you want to relax or party) They have a board with suggested tours (quite different every day) in a parlor so if you want to see smth and didn't decide yet what exactly it's very handy) The staff are amazing, eager to help you - they will show directions on the map, write it down and also if you are not quite fast with looking up and just lazy they will do the research for you. Thanks Shateau for wonderful days!
