Good security but Hostel is very far from the centre. Average social space and wasn't the best atmosphere during stay. Wouldn't recommend

This is exactly what we was looking for. Staff were really friendly and everyone in the hostel went out together which was so much fun! Loki showed us all the good places to party. Really chilled and friendly atmosphere. About 10 min walk to city centre.

The staff were amazing! Highly recommend this hostel!

The hostel as cleaned in the morning which was nice. The staff was nice but I had some clothing lost and the staff seemed not to care at all. Although, Mia was very nice. Other guests quite nice though did like everyone I met.

Owner Comment (Hide)
It is not our fault when guests misplace their clothing, we are not responsible to keep track of all of your belongings. We offer free lockers for a reason. Glad to hear that the hostel was clean and you had a great time meeting people. The staff took your e-mail address in case the shirt was found. It would have been nice if your review reflected your enjoyment at our hostel instead of projecting your problems on to a staff member because you lost your shirt.

Really and homely staff are as young and happy lucky as traveler. Excellent place stay...

The hostel was brilliant, all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Couldn't have been better if they tried, Stephen is a fantastic asset to outlanders tribe. It's a great atmosphere and all members of staff actively go out of their way to involve you and invite you to things going on each evening. Incredible value for money with the best staff. Great inside knowledge on split and the best recommendations. GO HERE! IT'S AMAZING! Fabbbbb stay. Thanks guys xx

One of the best places I stayed on my travels. Steve an the guys who work there are really cool an make you feel welcome. Very social place an they will help you out with pretty much anything. Definitely coming back

If you're looking for the best hostel in Split, outlanders tribe hostel is it. I stayed here for 5 days and wished I had more time to extend my stay. Steve and the guys who work there, Edd and Loki, etc, make you feel welcome the second you check in. It's a very social hostel, so if you're travelling alone or in a group you're bound to meet some great people that you'll stay in contact with. There is always something to do in the hostel and people hanging around, so you'll never be lonely and

I'm a solo traveler staying in hostels for the past 9 months, this is my favorite hostel! Awesome staff, great location, best air con in the world, comfy beds and clean facilities. Booked 3 nights and stayed 6. Be careful everyone stays longer than they planned. Met so many cool people and the staff was always organizing events. I'll be back son can't wait!

Everything about this hostel was ok... It had an ok location (10min walk to Bell Tower, 20mins to the bus station, 30mins to the beach). Good rooms with aircon, but definitely not enough showers or toilets - especially for men as there was only 1 of each. It was quiet in the mornings as no one gets up early! But we didn't find the people that friendly - either the staff or other guests. Overall, fine but not very special for €30 a night, or compared to other hostels we stayed at on this trip.

The hostel had a good party vibe, but the staff were very careless about following proper rules such as not letting guests check in at 830am & wake up the rest of the room that is sleeping. There was only 2 showers & one toilet for girls & another for guys, not very clean & the showers are small. Good thing is they do offer a pub-crawl including dinner at a good Croatian restaurant & a cheap bar afterwards. They also have air conditioning which is good since it's always hot. Overall, average.

This very basic hostel had an amazing homely feel. It had soul and love and immediately made us feel welcome. That had every thing you needed and had a wonderful social but also local feel. Difficult to find at first but even though way out of town we chose to go back for a second visit. Lots of love for outlanders. Also very we'll controlled noise at night so if you're looking for a party they show you the right way and if you're looking for sleep you are guaranteed a peaceful night.

Really friendly and helpful staff, great for partying but not so crazy that you can't sleep on the nights you don't party.

Nice, well-located hostel with a friendly staff and very social atmosphere. The 12pm checkout time was definitely appreciated!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. They encouraged a collaborative environment. The nightly hostel dinners/mini pub crawls were a great way to meet fellow travellers. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place! Staff are very friendly and cool! Free pub crawl!

I stayed at Outlanders Tribe for 6 nights and had a blast. I was traveling solo and they had fun dinner/bar nights set up every night where you went to meet other travelers from different hostels. It was a good time. It had an energetic atmosphere and the staff were awesome to hangout with/be around. I plan on traveling back to Split some day and will most likely choose this place again! :)

Steve and his crew did a great job. This is a great hostel for backpackers looking to have a good time and be social. Don't expect glitz and glamour. Just good times and good people. 👍😎👍

They have a very small social area and the location is not ideal for the city. But if you want to chill out, go to the beach and do some hiking in the part, that's the place.

Awesome place! I had a great time here. The owners and staff are super chill and friendly. Really good A/C too!
