I guess you get what you pay for. For $20 can't expect too much. The rooms are clean and cleaned every day if you want. No breakfast included. Right near the Zocalo, local area. The nice beaches and good hotels are miles away. Sometimes no hot water. Also has Internet issues. on and off. elevator often get stuck. It doesn't feel like a real hotel, it's more like a residential old bldg. For short budget stay o.k. For a really relaxed beach vacation go somewhere else.

We enjoyed. Very kind and helpful staff.

Wow. Stay here if you are up for a terrfiying night of the staff hitting on you, not being able to walk outside at night for fear of mugging or someone breaking into your incredibly old lock.

I was happy wifi worked on 7th floor. Showers didn't work very well.

The first thing we saw when we got up by the elevator was a cockroach. Then there was a lizard staying with us in the room for the whole stay. Compared to the average price of hostels in Mexico and facilities they offer this was pretty expensive + the animals.
