This was a traditional type of accomodation which made it interesting. Staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The food is elaborate and well worth trying but it is alot of raw fish. It is however difficult to find with no english signs. From the stop, you to continue straight down the street and it is on your right about 50m back from the cross road. It is a white boxy building and has a L shaped white concrete thing at the entrance. This was a traditional type of accomodation which made it interesting. Staff were extremely courteous and friendly. This was a lovely discovery - very reasonably priced, beautiful area, and out-of-the-way so you have a feeling of adventure and seclusion when you are there.
The onsens are wonderful - hot and minerally, and you feel truly refreshed afterwards.
The highlight is the food, though. Take dinner and breakfast here, as they really put a lot of effort into preparing truly wonderful meals that are an adventure in Japanese cuisine. Be prepared to use your chopsticks creatively though. This was a lovely discovery - very reasonably priced, beautiful area, and out-of-the-way so you have a feeling of adventure and seclusion when you are there.
