The staff, although friendly, were at times a bit unprofessional. The quality of the rooms and facilities was ok but not great which made me feel that it should have been a little cheaper. Overall, it was just fine.

Good atmosphere, big mix of ages but mostly young people. Very hot and poor ventilation in the rooms and common area.

Verá good atmosphere, great localization! I just didn't Like that the toiltes weren't very clean, there were just one female bathroom for the whole hostel and the rooms didn't have individuals lockers.

in general hostel was better than in London)

Very nice place, near the city center. Everything is reachable by walking. Clean, the showers are good. The breakfast is a bit of a chaos, there's not much place to sit and you are supposed to wash your own dishes, but it looks like not everyone knows how to wash their own dishes, so everytime I'd use sth I had to wash again. But very good in an overall! I'd stay there again.

It was hot everywhere in this hostel, and the circulation was not good. They also cram people into rooms but don't have the discount price to go with it. At least our bunk beds were only 2 high. That being said, it does check the basic boxes of cleanliness and security, and they serve alcohol in the common room. Included breakfast was toast and jam, but it was included. Not as nice as hostels I've seen in other countries, but this seems to be about what you get in a popular place in England.

Fairly good hostel, the 6 bed dorm was was very small, but I only stayed 1 night. Good location close to the bus station and walkable distance to everything in Oxford.

Location was great, close to the bus station. The staff was very accommodating for our late arrival and early check out. However, our room was extremely small for five bunk beds. Definitely not enough room, and the lockers are very small, only big enough for a small bag or purse.

The staff called Diana was very helpful and friendly who always carries a smile on her face. We had nice chat with her and spent great time there. Thank you Diana!!

Everything is perfect except for the heating in summer. It would be better if the hostel could provide fans for each room. Furthermore, there should be free wifi, at least for 30 mins/day.

Average hostel, staff lovely though. No air conditioning or fans in the room however so be prepared for it to be hot, and noisy with car traffic on the street side if you keep your window open. . .

They seemed to have a wide spread for breakfast, that was good. The staff member at reception was quite stressed because he had to be doing reception, laundry, breakfast and everything at once. I think they need at least two people to man the front desk.

My room was just fine, but one person living/working there had the worst smelling feet. Common room was way too hot. A fan in a window would work wonders.

Probably I just get what 16.50 worth for. The hostel is full of annoying immature people. My bedroom stink of feet. Some of the staff are nice and helpful while others aren't. The shared bathroom is not very clean and the whole place is quite damp.

Strictly disciplined (+++++ for that), secure and systematic. The atmosphere does take a blow for that, but the price makes up for it. The location is great during the day and horrible during the night, there is so much noise that it's impossible to sleep well if your room is facing the main road. Make sure to ask for a room thats facing the other way if you want to sleep!
