This place is a little shoddy, but has the basics of what you need and nothing more. Don't expect much of it and you'll do fine. Pretty near to the coach station, 5-10 mins walk.

Reasonably good hostel, wifi worked well and on the whole it was fairly clean with okay showers. The nightclub next door kicked on late so there was a constant sound of bass. The staff member when I arrived wasn't particularly attentive. Very hot in the common room - could look at some air con for those summer days!

This hostel felt very dodgy, especially since while I was checking in the guy at reception had to kick out a homeless man who kept sneaking in. However the staff were nice. The room was boiling hot (the radiator was on and staff refused to turn it off), and the mattresses were rock hard. The walls are super thin, the club up the road was very noisy, there were only 3 showers in the hostel for women, no bench space, and the wifi did not work on my iPhone. Too expensive for what you got.

This place is disgusting and during the hottest days of the year they couldn't get the radiators off even after being asked multiple times. The hostel smells, needs thoroughly cleaned - mounds of hair everywhere and the beds are dreadfully uncomfortable. It was a waste of money staying here and I cut my visit short so I could leave.

it's pretty expensive and the wifi won't reach to the rooms

The bathroom has a lack regarding the changing area, should have more space to change. Another thing is that there could be more plugs in the rooms, especially beside the beds

Great location, nice staff that are willing to go that extra mile. A really nice place to stay, abit on the pricey side but was worth it. The only negative thing was that it was too hot, not enough windows. Nice kitchen and showers, enough plugs and mirrors. A* thanks for a nice stay :)

Need more staff at busy times such as check in and check out :) rooms were nice but could use thicker curtains for early morning sunshine!

The atmosphere and vibe in the common room was excellent, especially in the evenings, and the staff are very welcoming of backpackers into their community within the hostel

Improve on the Wifi connectivity Be more flexible especially on the timings of opening the kitchen to cater for those who have to leave early.

Clean and friendly, beds were comfy and kitchen well equipped. Rooms could be improved with power points for each bed, larger lockers and more ventilation on warm days. Location very close and convenient for bus and railway stations.

When looking to stay at this hostel, we were attracted by its claims to be one of the more/most social hostels in the area. I've been to hostels that claim to be social and hostels that don't and the mood of the place can be anywhere from lively to dull, but never have I been in a hostel where the reception staff have been more unethusiastic, inattentive and so awkward that they actually brought the whole mood of the place down. Really need to hire some more enthusiastic staff.

Crappy wifi, guys constantly trying to get you to party, loud people usually drunk...

The staff by the name of Andrew was really friendly and accommodating. Even when I had arrived very early in the morning, he had welcomed me and even invited me to join the morning breakfast. Everyone was like one big happy family. They had regular Wednesday night pool competition which was happening. It was certainly better than the other backpackers joint in Oxford. Highly recommended.

If there is a shelf in bathroom to let us put our things for washing faces on would be lovely.
