The staff by the name of Andrew was really friendly and accommodating. Even when I had arrived very early in the morning, he had welcomed me and even invited me to join the morning breakfast. Everyone was like one big happy family. They had regular Wednesday night pool competition which was happening. It was certainly better than the other backpackers joint in Oxford. Highly recommended.

If there is a shelf in bathroom to let us put our things for washing faces on would be lovely.

Really impressed with the level and amount of help when one of our group had lost his phone. Thanks so much guys!

Great place for a cheap bed with a good location! Wifi was a hit and miss - kept losing connection on and off - and some of the staff could be friendlier.

Probably a great hostel if you are looking for a party place. It has its own bar and communal area. The facilities were relatively clean and the staff were great. However, we were placed in a room right above the street on a hot night with the radiator stuck on, and the only protection from the street light right beside the window was a flimsy curtain. Cheap and cheerful, but up to you if that's what you're after.

Extremely slow internet. Incompetent staff, tried to have hostel do laundry overnight, ended up missing my train in the morning because they 'forgot'. Otherwise, a dingy dirty place.

It's located close to train station and very close to downtown. Staff is helpful and the facilities are ok. There's a pub crawl and a good bar in the hostel.

Cool hostel in a great location in Oxford, close to the bus and train stations. Felt very safe even at night and met some cool people. Dorm was good but using a code was a bit annoying and sometimes the door didn't shut properly. Great to have access to computers and WiFi was good. Staff were friendly.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Though the hot water system for the showers stopped working at one point, for a few hours. Also there was no power points in the room. Had to charge items outside in the bar area.

It's a typical hostel. On the good side: lovely staff, nice atmosphere, good location and all the facilities offered. On the bad side, breakfast was poor and unorganized. Toilets were alright, they were quite new and average clean. They really focus on making you socialize, so don't worry if you travel alone, you will make friends. Cheers.

Nice big hostel with a bar and a self catering kitchen in the common room. Only downside is the noise going on from Thursday to Saturday night from the very close clubs in the street. The music is clearly audible until 4 am and sometimes wakes you up. Otherwise everything was alright

So grotty. My quilt cover was threadbare! The pillow case was clean I could still smell grease on it. It really needs a good clean - by professional cleaners, not reception staff. You can see from the light fitting in the ladies loo that botch jobs by non professionals are acceptable here. Grouting around a light fitting so it doesnt fall out is shabby & shows that the owners are only interested in money rather than welfare and enjoyment of clients. Need 2nd glazing for club noise. Staff v nice

just three shower for all that people seems really too few, and personally I think is crazy that after 10:30 the bathroom is closed for cleaning, but everything else was really fine.
