The thing that makes this hostel a great place to stay is that Gan and Oyuna - the owners - are fantastically welcoming and accommodating. We turned up not having booked any tours and with a short time frame, but Gan was able to pull together a short excursion into Terelj national park. The location is 30 seconds from the Gandan monestary in an area which felt a little dodgy at night. We stayed in the small Ger in the front garden which was an experience, but some facilities were questionable
