Nice, clean and has lots of scheduled activities. Big hostel though and less conducive to meeting other travelers than some of the smaller fun hostels. Most staff was great but very rude female server in the bar/restaurant.

Plus Berlin was located in a great part of Berlin, right beside Kreuzbrug. The staff and facillities were excellent. Outdoor area was superb. The only downside - if you are traveling solo or as a couple prepare for an onslaught of Contiki, Top Deck and school groups, who only stay briefly, but can be noisy and obnoxious. Unfortunately they bring the atmosphere down on an otherwise fantastic hostel. But don't worry - they generally just hang around in the hostel bar throughout their stay!!

Hostel is in a great location of Berlin, safe, clean, staff was very helpful and friendly, room was large, bright and clean, so was the bathroom. Fully recommend.

We had a twin room with ensuite bath. The room was big with high ceilings. Best room and value deal so far. Great location, directions from main railway station were flawless. Hostel offered free walking tours which were very enjoyable. Would definitely return.

Pretty much a really avant-garde hotel for the price of a hostel. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice.

Plus Berlin was a nice hotel/hostel. The rooms were large. Lots of space. The bathroom was of good quality. There are a lot of tour groups that stay here so you might not get much sleep because there are yahooers late at night. The East Side Gallery is a short walk away and the trains are very close by.

Really liked the place, it was clean and great value for money.

This hostel had the most amenities of any I have stayed in. Housekeepers make your bed and give you a clean towel every day. There is a courtyard, bar/restaurant, indoor pool, sauna, rec room, "kitchen", football/volleyball field, and more rooms than you can count. Wifi is decent at times but spotty at others. Staff was helpful. Location is close to nightlife, supermarket, and a 15 minute walk from the fun Kreuzberg district. Also a five minute walk from the S-bahn, U-bahn, and tram stations.

Great place to stay in

Fantastic stay. The hostel is great value for money. We had a double deluxe ensuite room and they moved us to the top floor to avoid noise. The one recommendation would be to avoid the breakfast. Compared to what you can get in the bakeries in Berlin it is not worth the 6 euros.

We got a private room ensuite double bed. It really felt more like a party hotel then a hostel. It is HUGE and they come to clean your room every day. That includes towels and your bed. That is pretty amazing for a hostel. Some charge you just for sheets. This had everything included. With one exception. Breakfast wasn't included and was expensive. Just go somewhere nearby and grab breakfast there. Overall solid for what we were looking for. It also accommodates for those looking to party.

The best hostel we stayed in and one of the cheapest too! It is a must stay, even if its just for the giant pizza!

Great hostel! Go here if you want to meet other backpackers!

The hostel was big and clean and towels in the dorm rooms, but it was much like a hotel in the way that it was not a great atmosphere for meeting other travellers just because it was so big! Shout out to Miriam for showing me around the market though!

Really enjoyed this hostel. Probably our best so far on our trip. It is a bit of a walk from the main area of Berlin but transport is across the road and easy to navigate. We really enjoyed the extras such as the pool and sauna. The common room was good and we utilised the small basic kitchen for some meals. Would have liked some cups and cutlery. Wifi was temperamental even in the lobby, though it seemed to work better there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

We were so impressed with the upbeat vibe from the hostel and hundreds of other fellow, young travelers. It was a short walk to the S and U bahn, but no lift to the platforms. Plus had good maps and other tours available just for guests. Breakfast was great. So was wifi. There were on site artists and a workshop too. We had issues with using the laundry--none of them worked.

Astonished by the value for money offered at PLUS Berlin, the facilities were much beyond what we expected. Seemed more like a hotel than a hostel, but retained the atmosphere.
