Loved this place, staff was awesome, place had a really great vibe, with everyone from young backpackers, families, to a wedding party staying in the same place. Great location on the edge of Kreuzberg, right next to S-Bahn and U-Bahn and close to the east side gallery. Rooms and bathrooms were super clean, towels included. Big in-room wardrobes to lock your stuff in if you want. Bike rentals available too.

Hard to judge this place, as I was only for 1 night, and it's such a huge hostel. But overally, it was good, located in Friedrichshain, one nice area in Berlin, with a good night life close to the place.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. Huge and perfectly clean room, nice and helpful staff, sauna (but the swimming pool was definitely too cold) ! The only downside is the location, quite far from the major attractions of Berlin. I would recommend this place anyway, it was really cool.

This is a hotel. If you're looking to meet other travellers, don't come here. The week my girlfriend and I were there, the entire hotel was full of high school groups, we seemed to be the only ones there who were over the age of 18. The rooms were nice, very high ceilings and a lot of space. The area is on the east side but it was nice to be away from the tourist traps and just enjoy Berlin. Overall, good place for school groups and couples. Would not suggest for a solo traveller.

The room and bathroom were ok in size, confort and also clean. The bad point were bathroom after shower get full of water all over the floor, also i got a room very, very noisy, the window was in front of the street and also the acoustic was horrible, i could listen to everyone in and out of other rooms, talks etc... The location was not close (walking) to the center but very close to the transport so easy to get around .

We were surpeised at how styling and welcoming this hostel is, it's really more like a large hotel with beautiful artwork all over the place, lovely high ceilings, a pool and a fantastic resturant and bar! I'd recommend Plus Hostel Berlin to anyone!

Stayed for 3 nights, the first in a 6-bed room and next two in a private twin. We were quite pleased with how spacious it all was. Showers were hot and clean. In-room WiFi was spotty. On-site restaurant was fairly priced with large portions. Facilities are unbeatable and the front desk staff was always helpful and knowledgable. Farther from attractions, but a step off the S-Bahn station. Wish breakfast wasn't 6Euro pp/pd, but it was good. Coffee machine in the lobby was a plus! Would stay again!

The hotel had a very cool atmosphere! Very funky and great. The location is a 5 min walk from the subway stop.. but still pretty far from the city center. Very close to the East Side Gallery, though which is a great place to check out. The only problem we had with our stay was that two people in our room left with bedbug bites...

The hostel itself was nice and the rooms were well laid out. The addition of having a pool at a hostel was an added bonus. The only downside was that the location was not as close to all the major attractions as other hostels. It is easy to get to because of the close UBAHN line though. If you're interested in going out to clubs every night though, this is a good place for you as it is basically right across the street from the clubs. It is also walking distance to the East Side Gallery.

great location and great hostel-hotel. The only downside is that it doesn't have a real common area, there is a spacious room on the last floor that no one uses and has no facilities really. Also it doesn't really allow people have their own food as they have no kitchen equipment (only mini fridge, toaster and a chopping board). No cutlery plates or glasses for example. They offer brekkie for 6 euros though. Mini swimming pool and sauna.

This was the best hostel that I've even stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and all of the facilities were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Berlin.

I've stayed in this hostel before, and in my opinion it's the only place to stay in Berlin! So close to the u and s trains, the cool clubs, the east side gallery and so on! Plus, the building itself is unbelievable. Not to mention the value for money is excellent! My friend and I stayed in the hotel part which was cheaper than most hotels and much bigger and nicer! I recommend all my friends going to Berlin to stay at plus and I always will. Thanks plus!

We spent so little time in the hostel that we didn't get any real idea of the atmosphere of it. But the staff were great and the room was excellent and, thankfully, not mixed among the many school groups who seemed to be visiting at the same time we were there. Good planning on the part of the staff. In fairness, the complex is MASSIVE. I'm not sure I'd stay that far out of the centre on a return visit, but it was well worth it for this particular trip.

Would come again, stay would have been perfect if the pool was heated.

Located in an old factory between the two most bustling neighborhoods of Berlin, I can only recommend this clean and high-quality hostel. It's also a hotel for those who want more luxury. One thing must be noted, however: the walls and doors aren't exactly sound proof. Not that you can hear every whisper, in the 5 nights we stayed, on two of them there were some (semi-drunk) people talking loudly. Which is not a big deal, but just a word of caution.

Good hostel. Located close to subway, cheap food and the Berlin Wall!! Large lockers for storage and a large bathroom. I didn't spend much time at the hostel socialising so cannot comment.

What can I say... It`s first time when I`ve been in hostel with huge, comfort individual room. For addition there is a swimming pool and sauna, which are the best way to rest after whole day trip. I`ll be back there in the few months, because I`ll never find so many pluses for so little price. Only thing which I will change is luggage storage, because it didn`t look safe for me. The rest is ok.
