Nice place, out of the island but pretty close to it, though. Careful with the transfer to the airport, we had an horrible experience when it arrived 45 minutes after expected and we just caught our plane thanks to a miracle (delayed flight). Pretty good value for the money.

A bit out of the city, but very well connected with private shuttle. Definitely the cheapest, funniest, best value-for-money place to stay in Venice.

Bed was discussing, I'm pretty easy but this was ferral, I told them I had a wasps nest in my tent, and they didn't do anything. Tip: pay more, sleep in a actual cabin, that doesn't have bed bugs like my friends did.. :( pool was awesome but.

It's cheap but it's so far away from venice downtown. It's cold at night if you are in a tent

Hostels.com description said they they have multiple shuttles (it seemed hourly!) from the hostel location to Venice and that t would be very easy to access tourist sites. It only had 3 shuttles - leaving in the morning, coming back at night. We arrived mid afternoon and were stuck until the next day - THEN all the shuttles were already full. We had to pay for public transportation which took us 45 minutes each way and needed us to walk down strange dark alleyways and underpasses at night.

The cabin was incredibly small, and my bed actually had to be folded off the wall- the ladder to climb up it was kept in the cupboard. It would have been fine for two people but way too small for three... The staff were also incredibly unhelpful, I had to keep on going back to reception as they hadn't given me a pillow or any bed sheets, the wi-fi wasn't working and the sink tap in the bathroom wouldn't turn on sometimes meaning you had to wash your hands in the shower.

Overall my stay was good. But I did not fancy the location. I can't believe that others had given the place 80% for location, because the place was far!!! The shuttle bus provided was limited (and u have to book first) while to use the nearest local bus, u have to walk quite far. Plus, the direction given to reach the place was terrible. They kept saying to stop at the bus stop via paleocapa, however the bus they suggested to take did not stop there. So, I suggest thinking 2x bout the location

It was cheap, nice environment and atmosphere. Ants in the room, shower door was not attached properly, bathroom window would not shut. Walking directions from the train station on the website are not correct and when we brought it to the reception ladies attention she just laughed and said she knew already. Supermarket was closed one day because the one guy that worked there was ill.

i think Plus Camping Jolly would be better during the summer months when the restaurant, Bar and Pool are open. There is not much around this area within walking distance and everything at the campground was closed when we stayed there. We were trying to save money by not staying in the center of Venice so it was a good value for its money and the staff was very friendly and they seemed to take good care of the facility but would not recommend during the off-season.

The room smelt really badly; like i had to double take when i walked in everything, i asked to move rooms and even offered to down grade to a tent! the people at reception where really rude and all they said was, 'NO' and walked away. The resturnant was shut for matnence or something, which is fair enough but you would think they would have said when i checked out! when i went and asked where i could find some-food they said nowhere near here sells food, so there is nothing you can eat tonight
