Really nice, big tents with light inside and locks on the door; no socket though... The toilets were a little disgusting, but acceptable for a camping site. Really nice location with the most beautiful view over Florence - and only walking distance from the City center (around 20 min). Easy to get there by bus also :-) The tents are very noisy though - and we had problems sleeping because of Loud Music from a club next door.

This is so far from everywhere! Not even worth the price as you spend it in transport back and worth. A few people we were there with just left and booked another hotel . Wifi does not work at all. Cold water! Restaurant thing there doesn't open till night. Vending machines don't work.

The view from the terrace was the greatest on our entire round trip of Europe and made it our favourite stop and well worth the walk up the hill. The tents were clean safe and secure and the staff in reception were helpful and answered all of our queries! We hope to return soon.

This place is quite far from center, however this place is so good and view is really good. But bathroom and toilet are not clean.

There is no electrical charges in tents. Showers suck, they are not clean, wifi like from 2000's. We paid extra money for our table covers! They didnt even said the difference between normal tables and covered tables!

It's really hot in the tents and they don't really keep mosquitos out. Other than that it was pretty good.

Pros: 2 mins from Piazza Michelangelo where you can have the best sight on Florence, great terrace Cons: HUGE lack of outlets (6-7 for all guests) which in my case resulted in no pictures of this wonderful night spent with five girls met at the camping, last morning empty bottles took 5hours to be removed from the table, 10€ for one liter of wine

We had a fairly good stay here, although it is not nearly as nice as their hostel in Venice. When we checked in we noticed a huge hole in the roof of our tent, staff were really accommodating and happy to move us to another tent, which was fantastic. The location is pretty good, 25 min walk into the city or you can take two different buses from the train station which literally drop you at the door of the campsite. The only negatives would be that the bathrooms were not very nice and smelt..

Facilities are not very clean, so I didn't bother even showering while there. Location is excellent--only 20 minutes walking distance from the duomo; 5min from piazza Michelangelo which is great to wander at sunset. There were no lockers--you just hoped your roommates would lock the door when they left. Atmosphere was nice.

The location is perfect, beautiful view, the city is a 10 minute walk away. You could close the tent when going away, the tent was clean. Enough showers and toilets, you never had to wait.

Great location to get away from the city but still walkable! Staff were helpful and friendly. If you dont mind camping and camping type facilities, this is the place for you! However the mosquitos were worse than expected, even with bug spray! Market closed, which was annoying! Pizza great from bar but fairly pricey.

Facilities weren't the best and during our stay the women's got particularly filthy (to be fair we may have just been staying with some very dirty people) If you're young and like the student scene then this would be a good place. Maybe one to avoid if you are travelling with family and young children.

Amazing wiev of the city from the bar and great atmosfere the place it's full with a young people's staff at the reception was friendly and professional , of course you sleep in the tend, and during the day it's a bit hot but during the night it's perfect and the price it's very cheap , the location it's just 10 min from the city center and 200 mt from michelangelo square ,

Showers looked and smelled like they hadn't being cleaned in days, well the 3 that actully worked, says there is a supermarket but it's locked up and gotta go back into Florence for a hour walk there and back or a 20 min bus trip just to go shopping, says there is a restaurant but they only sell really bad pizza and over priced drinks and the staff are rude as hell

Just realizing your paying for camping. Tents have bunk beds and are lockable, have lights but no outlets. Ours had a whole in the roof and the lock worked terribly. No airflow in tent so it was very humid and caused our clothes to smell weird. Showers and bathrooms are relatively clean. Have washing and drying machines, good bar area. 20 minute walk from train station, have to hike up huge hill. Located next to cool Flo club which parties late.

I was very disappointed with Camp Michelangelo! The bathroom facilities were very poor, with dirty showers and toilets. Also they are at the top of the camp which meant it was quite a trek from our tent. Mosquitos are crazy, my friend took an reaction due to so many bites and we had to go to the hospital in our next destination. They are not enough plug sockets so had to wait to charge phones etc. Wifi is not very strong either and only works in common area.

The camping is about 30 minute walk from the train station, it is on top of a hill and the view to Florence is amaaazing! The tents were clean and good. You need to be in the restaurant/bar to charge your phone or use the wifi, which I think is common if you're staying at a camping, but you need to consider that anyway.
