Several people including myself had their phones and wallets stolen from the lockers and the campsite.

Owner Comment (Hide)
We're very sorry for what happened with the electronic lockers but only your phone got stolen and nothing else that happened because, as indicated on the instructions written in various languages, the electronic lockers work with € 1,00 coin that gets the lockers locked for 12 h; if you reopen them before another €1,00 must go in to re-lock them (and U opened it). Also, the manager suggested to you to come back with a police report in order to refund you but you never did.

They almost lost my passport, stressful experience, the rest is just like what everyone says... View is very nice! It's really cute if you're feeling adventurous!

Really good hostel, lots of people with a good atmosphere. Cool location sleeping outdoors. The bathrooms were a little far but they were clean and typical "camp" bathrooms. Nice place to stay.

Zero outlets, wifi doesn't work, staff not that friendly. Facilities are disgusting. Wouldn't stay here again

it was beautiful, a 1 minute walk from the piazzale michaelangiolo, the best view of florence, friendly atmosphere and nice long shower. no kitchen facilities if you want to cook your own food, its up a steep hill butyou can leave your baggage in a locker. the doors were tricky to open and the keys were thin and i was scared it would break. i saw a group of 4 who had broken their key and they had to pay 29 euro EACH and it shouldnt cost 116 euro to copy 1 key!! i had a good time though.

The camping turned out well. The tents were fairly spacious and the beds were nice. There were some ants on the floor but wasn't terrible and it got a little chilly at night. The staff were friendly but they don't offer much info on the city. The facilities were fairly clean as they cleaned them every day but did get a little dirty as people would track in dirt. The terrace was nice. It was sometimes difficult to find find a charger though and the WiFi was very spotty.

Bathrooms and showers were disgusting and usually didn't have hot water, our tent had water and dirt all over the floor right when we got there, and the lockers are all broken so you need to leave everything in the tent. Location was alright had a nice view over Florence but you had to take many stairs to get to the city and if you wanted to go out at late at night it was hard to get back. Overall it is camping so you can't expect too much but having somewhat cleaner facilities would help.

In spite of the great location to see sunset, the lounge next to the camp had loud muisc on until 3:30 am every night. Besides that my phone got stolen in the camp. I left after two restless nights.

Overall good value for money. Charging devices was difficult as nothing available in the tents only in the bar area or the lockers which you pay for each time you open, but for the amount paid with great location, it was worth the stay. Would recommend to others.

The views from the camp are amazing. Only takes a 20/25 minute walk downhill to the city. And the buses are easy to use too. The atmosphere is really good, lots of young travellers. The bar and pizzeria is nice too. The tent locks so its good security and you can rent out lockers if needed. The bathrooms are the basics, could probably do with a few more showers but all in all the facilities are good.

Loved the location. It was easy to get around the city, and the camp was located near some great sights and viewing points.

Filled with mosquitos, wifi was very spotty and hard to get, bathrooms were disgusting.

The location was great, especially for the price! My only issues were the amount of mosquitoes which is to be expected in a campsite. There were also only a few power points and the Internet didn't reach my tent, but it meant more opportunity to make friends in the communal areas.

Facilities here are very basic, no power points in the tents, not even enough power points anywhere except outside in the bar area which is futile if it is raining. Showers and toilets are filthy and often closed for cleaning which is completely ironic. Wifi is pre-historic and only works in the bar area. The tents are in fixed positions that suggest the person erecting them doesn't understand that someone has to sleep horizontally. Our beds were stripped and belongings moved halfway through.

It was a great place to stay if you're looking for something cheap. They had a nice little bar and area to socialize with other guests, which was a plus. It's a solid 20 minute walk from downtown Florence but super close to Piazza Michelangelo, which had great views.

The place wasn't very great. The tents were okay but there were no outlets and there were slugs in the shower and the wifi connection was pretty poor. It was enough for what we paid for though.

I booked a private 2 person tent for 4 nights and on night 3 a third random person had moved into my tent. The staff moved my girlfriend and me to a new private tent but the inconvenience - and the security issue that a stranger had access to our tent with our belongings scattered about - was definitely concerning and a nuisance. Decent locational to the downtown area of Florence but a bit overpriced for what you get.

the only good things of these place is the location and the price. No cooking facilities, no plugs in the tents (only in the bar), dirty bathrooms, bad showers and you have to pay for safety box. The wi fi only works in the bar area and really slow.

74%

It's a camping ground, don't expect much more. Really close to the square to see an amazing sunset. Pizza at the bar is really good, and breakfast is relatively cheap.
