The camp has everything you need for when it is hot in Rome. We spent most of our time at the pool which is nice ands clean with tons of seating. This was a plus because if you like things walking distance from everything this is sadly not the case but it is super easy to jump on a public bus. The restaurant is expensive but thankfully there is a huge supermarket across the street where you can pick up pre made food because there's is no kitchen or fridge for guest use.
Sweet atmosphere. Pretty far from town so need to get the bus info. The rooms are really clean and comfy.
Pool, supermarket and food on site was great. Restaurant standard could be improved. Shuttle dropping at the Vatican was a bit misleading.
We are 4 girls currently interrailing Europe and we chose to stay here, out of the city, as it had a pool and would be first time on our trip out of a city. I marked low on location as it was 20 min walk from station and 30 min walk to metro. We stayed in one of the tents, although had absolutely no idea what this was going to be. It's like a gazebo with a slidable lockable door. The restaurant is good with nice staff, pool is great, the shop has most things at reasonable price.
The WiFi connect is annoying. Never able to use wifi at the tent, can only be connected near the market or restaurant. I think the hostel should lower the price if not providing shuttle bus for their customers. The location is really far from the City Center, it cost a lot in transportation. So either slower the price or offer shuttle bus to the Center, said the termini station. Others are average. Shower rooms and toilets are fairly okay. Would probably be too noisy if you live near the bar.
An interesting place to stay in summer. I really like the tent, restaurant, swimming pool, everything in this Plus camping. 11eu/day is a reasonable price for a student like me.
Absolute gem of a find, i travelled with an 11 year old so the pool was a welcome addition and was lovely to sit around on rest days. Shop was well stocked and priced and the restaurant was decent enough if you cant be bothered to cook. Bar quite expensive but drinks from the supermarket solved that. Will return.
It is a great alternative if you cannot afford to stay in Rome city itself. Would be great if they offered a shuttle into town. Restaurant was good food but poor service.
We really really enjoyed our time at Camping Roma. While the site was a wee bit out of the way (metro & bus to get there) they ran regular shuttle buses for €3 return to the Vatican which was perfect for exploring Rome. The Bungalows were basic but clean and we had towels left in our rooms aswell. The food in the restraunt was very nice and cheap with us opting to eat there for our tea every night we stayed. There was a supermarket and a decent pool! Would defos stay again!
It has a great structure, but the wifi is limited to the common area. We found weird that they didn't allow to open the bar's windows. It is summer, it winds a lot, but to sit inside we had to handle the heat! Even though it is not very near to the city centre, there is a bus stop right in front of the camping. Very easy access!
we stayed in august but during rain and nights tents were too cold. the hostel is very cheap but you have to use public transport to access city center. public transport is easy but sometimes it takes too much time. worth to stay
Enjoyed staying here. Good atmosphere, the camp site at night was really cool - lots of people out and about. Good to stay for a short period of time and it's cheap!
satisfied stay. couldn't complain about much. shower/toilet facilities were good. i stayed in the tent, which was pretty secure. staff were helpful and atmosphere was great.
