Wifi was always cutting out. The location was very far away from the town centre and buses weren't very frequent, especially made it hard at night. It would be good if there was a kitchen. It's an oasis away from the city of rome, if that's what you want...
We did not enjoy our stay at plus camping Roma! The wifi was horrible and never worked! The tents were fine except that when we arrived it was raining and our tent had flooded and the window was open so everything was wet and our power points weren't working! We went and asked to change tents which we did end up doing but the reception staff weren't very friendly or apologetic about the whole situation! Overall the facilities were disappointing and I wouldn't stay here again!
We were 4 girls from Brussels. We spend 10 amazing days in Camping Plus Roma. The staff was awesome, the swiming pool was amazing, the food was super tasty, the drinks were cheap ! It was quiet at night, busy and happy during the day. Id say it was a little bit far from the center, especially when its so warm.. and if you want to party, dont be surprised, there are a lot of super young people in the camping club ( 17 years old ). But we had a great stay !!! Kisses to Emiliano.

The camp is beautiful, a little bit to far and the buses doesn't run very often, specially at night, you always have to try to get the bus before 9pm otherwise you will end up waiting for almost one hour for the next bus. Sunday is not a good day to stay there there are even less buses to take you out of the camp, and in the camp everything is close on Sunday (except the swimming pool).
Hostel is very very fair away from the centre of Rome, you need to take the bus and the metro to get into it, the bus has no timetable so you can be waiting for it anywhere from 5mins - 1hr 30mins. The bus you take is very bad for pick pocketing. The camping site itself is very nice, pool, bar, restaurant all clean and staff are nice and helpful.
Bungalows could be more sturdy and soundproof. They can shake from adjoining neighbors.
Loved that you had free wifi and power points in the tents!! Also loved that the tents could lock and that your staff enforced the rule about noise after a certain hour. Overall we had a great stay with you guys!
Amazing place for a great value! We felt like we were staying at a resort! The bathrooms are very clean and well kept and the pool area is stunning! Shuttle to the city is cheap and convenient, but if you're looking to stay later in the city public transport is just as easy (shuttle stops at 6:30). Great place!
We were pretty happy with the facilities, and definitely can't find a better price! On the second night a fight broke out between some young guys, who were shouting at each other for 15 minutes and fighting outside our tent at 3 am. They were kicked out the next morning, but it took way too long for Security to do anything while it was going on. I thought the staff was quite unsympathetic to the guys, which was appropriate. The tent facilities were comfortable enough, and had a locking door.
Awsome place to relax and wind down after exploring Rome. As everyone says the bus is a pain with baggage as alot of people from the camp go out in the mornings so bus is packed.
The staff is a bit rude and unhelpful. the place is little far from main town though well connected to the main areas.
I think these place are very huge place resturant are little bit expencive but they has markek and the price was perfeck for travelers and littlebit cold when we sleep
It is a bit far from the city but just take a bus and metro,it is not that bad.for this prices in a city like rome,it's definitely worth to stay.the tent is great, and of course a restaurant and a supermarket at your service in the area.also, there is a big supermarket just near the camping side.the garden has very good atmosphere to meet new people and relax with your friends.and cleanliness isn't great but not too bad
We stayed in the tent. It is pretty basic, but that is all you need. The bar/pool area was great!! Lots of good music and drinks specials. The super market is quite large with great variety and decent prices. The restaurant food was good too. The laundry facility was great...lots of machines and dryers. Shared bathrooms were cleaned daily with many showers and toilets. Daily shuttle service to The Vatican offered by the camp site otherwise there is a bus stop just outside the entrance.
Amazing!!! this kind of campings should exist everywhere!!!
More of a resort than a hostel, and that's more negative than positive. Restauarant is terrible, bland& overpriced. Staff is rude and charges you for every little thing. No kitchen for cooking own meals. We asked for ice at every area, and were met with a staff that suddenly didnt speak english.Rome city is far from the site, but the city bus makes it doable. But to return to the site on that same bus at night, make sure to fist fight and be crushed by a mass of people, happened every 6 nights.
Huge camp ground with heaps of facilities but a fair way out from the city. They do run a shuttle to the Vatican though for 6 euro
The wifi is pretty hard to get onto and there is no cooking facilities. The pool is nice but cold, everything is clean and cheap, would stay there again.
Takes around an hour to get into Rome city, however not hard. I enjoyed staying here and would stay again :)
