Overall its a great hostel but 2 things bothered me. First I went in winter just now and every room in the hostel is cold, even the sleeping rooms are cold all the time, when you ask them to turn up the heat the do so by computer but it makes no difference. If you are sensitive to cold dont go there. Second it has no kitchen and though the restaurant is good and cheap still the dont let you bring any food or drinks from the outside so its more like a hotel y hostels rooms rather than a hostel.

Plus Florence was extremely clean, the staff was really nice and helpful! I stayed during the low tourist season, so i did not even have 8 roommates, but paid for the price of sharing with 8 people and got a great space! And there is great Wifi connection!

The best hostel I have ever stayed. Very good location, 7 minutes walking distance from train station S.M.N. and very close to main attractions. Rooms are very nice, AC was working in my room which was ok. Swimming pool, bar, billard and patio downstairs and bar on the roof are great. Really nice to relax in the evening after whole day of sightseeing. Only thing they don't have, are kitchen facilities where you can cook your own meals, You buy meals they prepare. Overall great hostel.

I was robbed, the robbery was videotaped and it took more than 6 hours for the staff to show me the videos on the security camera. In this meantime, the thief that was a guest at the hostel, ran away. When we found out in the morning time NOTHING was done. If you get robbed there, dont even think that the staff will help you because they WONT.

An average stay overall. There was one night when I had an eight-bed dorm to myself so I didn't get to meet any people. I left with neck pains from the shoddy pillows. There was one staff member who was particularly friendly and helpful. He gave great recommendations!

We were really disappointed in the rooms. The hostel has great things available such as the bar, restaurant, pool, etc. But I think that their money should go towards improving/updating the rooms. We didn't like how you had to pay for towels (which were small and overpriced), and the wifi was HORRIBLE which was upsetting because I needed to plan out the rest of my week in other parts of Italy.

A quality hostel, with lots of entertainments and a very nice bar. It is not so far from the center and the bus stop. We enjoyed it very much. There are only two bad things: the bed is not so good; and it's not that fun because there is few young people wanting to hang out, it looks like a family hostel.

The hostel does almost everything right themselves but it feels too much like it's tryign to be a resort rather than a comfortable hostel home away form home. I never really felt comfortable and the lighting in my room was soooo dark I couldn't really do makeup properly there. Plus we didn't get lockers - which i think is a must when staying in a hostel. The staff were really nice and the location was good. It just wasn't my thing. If you go with a big group of people maybe it's better. :)

Great Hostel for value for money, amenities and cleanliness. Rooms were big and secure. Atmosphere may be better during the summer months.

PLUS Florence is a pretty good hostel. The ensuite rooms are nice and clean... The staff was really helpful and were able to give us maps and directions and suggestions on places to go. The guy even made a couple phone calls for us, since we don´t speak Italian and my friend left her purse on the train. There is no kitchen, which I would have prefered, but the restaurant food looked pretty good. The area is a bit quiet but you can walk everywhere in Florence!

the swimming pool is fine and there is gym as well. however my friend lost her mobilephone in her room! a stranger can just go inside the room pretending to be a guest. we had a horriable night.

Very big hostel, looks like a former office building which had been rehabilited into a hostel. 1 bathroom per room (at least at the girls dorms where I was staying), beds were comfortable, no kitchen use but meals and breakfast were available for a good price compared to other locations in the city. A few more shelves and hooks to lay and hang stuff would be very welcome, especially in the bathrooms !

Friendly and busy hostel with spacious rooms and everything you need. A self use kitchen and common area are all that's lacking, though they do have a canteen type area downstairs (with kitchen used by staff only) that serves this purpose.

It was an okay hostel. Didn't talk to the female workers because I read reviews that they weren't that nice so I avoided them. But the male workers were very nice and helpful. Hostel was okay, nothing to complain about.

Plus hostel is quite professional and almost perfect for young people to live in. But to be honest, the simple blanket is not enough to keep me warm which made me a little cold.
