I enjoyed it here. It's in a safe area to walk arounfd night and there are great and reasonably priced restaurants reallt close. Short walking distance to the train station as well as the centre of town. There are some more hotel style facilities with a pool and spa but its still got a nive hostel feel, maybe just a little more fancy.
Nice place to stay in Florence. They clearly put a lot of effort into the property but I think the atmosphere could use some work -- upstairs bar is totally deserted (no bartender even!) and they giveaway a free shot but nobody seems to stick around after.
Great everything, particularly love the pool and sauna
I found ladies underwear in the sheets when I unfolded them. That was pretty gross. But it's a nice place in a sweet location overall

Clean, friendly hostel. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but other than that nothing to complain about.
This is a big hostel so can impersonal. The facilities were always clean, there are adequate PowerPoints/bathrooms etc. The staff are helpful if asked. Not a great place to meet people, but definitely a good base to explore the beautiful city. Wouldn't bother with the breakfast though - you can get cheaper and better food in the city. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and secure at all times at the hostel and in the surrounding areas, which isn't always the case in Italy. Thanks Plus!
Really really really nice hostel but can be noisy. The sauna and pool makes it easier to meet new people!! I would recommend going on the free walking tour they provide through the hostel. The pub crawl wasn't that impressive but I would go to the club Matrix literally right across the street. (: The restaurant in the hostel called Opera and it has excellent food with a nice dinning area but the service is a bit slow. The Breakfast buffet is 6 euros but it's amazing and worth it.
Spacious rooms with nice staff. Apart from this all facilities were quite bad. Wifi was the worst I have ever used as it would reset itself every 3 minutes and even then was not a good connection. The toilet in my room was not fully attached to the floor! Apart from all this there definitely was not enough staff working to heap out the mass of people staying at the hostel. This is quite concerning as I was in off season. I would not like to imagine staying in peak season.
Not great - but not terrible either. Lacking in some facilities you'd expect in a hostel (kitchen, common area.) Has a pool and sauna - but who brings their bathers backpacking? Rooms are nice - big and spacious. Populated by large groups - bus tour groups and school groups, so can get quite loud. A bit outside the tourist attractions in Florence - but Florence is a small enough place, so that doesn't matter.
It was a good base for my stay in Florence, though involved a fair bit of walking each day to see the sights but you got to see the real city. Reception controlled so much down to even the heating in the room, but facilities otherwise were fine. Kitchen was a good place for a meal, just a pity more people weren't there at the time.
Wont be back...wifi is terrible, just in the lobby.

I'm satisfied with my stay except sheet and wifi connection. The sheet smelled a little bad so I didn't want to use it. And I often lost wifi connection during my 3 days stay. Other than these points, the was hostel was pretty good. The bath room was clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful.
Hostel had everything we needed, but bathroom was pretty dirty and smelled really bad. It would be nice to have hand soap provided in the bathrooms as well.

Great except 1)sleeping right next to noisy street(cars running over stone whole day and night), and 2)toilet flushing sound right behind my pillow in the morning, 3)wifi is super slow even my room is right next to lobby where wifi is best, 4) sauna is not hot at all. Swimming is cold, but i like it. Likely to recommend.
This place is more like a hotel and is a bit more expense than other hostels. The place is huge and they don't have the staff or the luggage room to accommodate the size. The staff was so kind though! The place has some nice amenities, like a pool and gym, but if the purpose of your trip is to travel, you won't use them, so they are not really worth paying for. This place is really nice, clean, and safe. I just think it may not be worth the money!
One of the best hostels I stayed ever. The personnel were not only kind but also friendly, they always had a smile and trying to give you support, any time. The only thing I would suggest is to accept credit card in bar and in restaurant. They only accepted cash but I would highly recommend this hostel but also whether I returned to Florence I will be stay there. The atmosphere is like hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, and the location excellent. They also had free computer usage, which was great. We gave our important documents to the staff behind the counter, but there were no free locks available to keep the rest of our things safe.
This is more like a hotel then hostel. The pool and sauna are nice. It's just a 15 minute walk to the academia and tourist area. The breakfast was ok, the dinner meal was great (standard Italy food). The room we stayed in was really nice and seemed pretty new. Had a tv. Overall this is a really good place to stay.
This hostel is in a good location - can easily walk to most sites within 20 minutes. Has good facilities although we didn't use most (i.e. the pool) while we were there. It also has a great, cheap breakfast. However, not a good overall experience. For starters, the wifi is terrible (hardly ever worked, and when it did, was slow)! And the staff was not very friendly. I asked to be put in a room with a friend and was refused, although there was an empty bed in that room the duration of our stay.
It generally is a very good hostel, just one point is bad that you have to wait for an extremely long time at the reception. There are hundreds of travellers stay in that big hostel, but just one staff would help you at the reception. It took me 30 mins to check in, then they took my passport and asked me to be back an hour later, then another 30 mins wait at my second visit. Moreover, if u wanna ask about other information, u hv to queue up again. The staff at reception is super busy.
