We only stayed one night & was hoping we could do our laundry, then go out. The was no washing powder or change available at the ostel & the reception staff were no help at all. We ended up spending most of time searching the streets for washing powder & change. Didn't get to see any of Florence!
At times it felt understaffed for the amount of customers at the facility. Other than that it was a great facility. Really enjoyed the onsite restaurant, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced.
A perfect hostel: good accomodations and situation. travellers in the hostel, from every part of the world, were really nice so the atmosphere was good. An advantage of the hostel: the roof terasse : its really enjoyable in summer and you can see the Duomo from there.
Good, clean place to stay in a good location. Could do with a few more staff on at check in as it was really busy and waited about half an hour to an hour to check in
I had a great stay in plus Florence. The staff at reception were nice, but not overly friendly. One man in particular was quite rude and didn't give me the information I needed. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were comfy. The pool and bar area was really nice and was always busy with people, the place had a great atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and nice. It was in a great location and close to major sites. I would stay here again next time I'm in Florence
I wouldnt call it a bad hostel for sure, but I personally didnt like it that much. The room was clean, big, airco,... everything it needed, I just didn't really like the atmosphere in the hostel. I guess it was a bit too big for me. I wouldn't recommend it for people traveling alone like me. If you're with a group of people, I think it will be much better.
Loved staying here. I will definitely be back!
Had a great stay and thanks to thepleasant and helpful staff for help when requested. Attitude of staff is great. I highly recommend it.
Good hostel - clean and modern. Beds weren't overly comfortable, I had no plug in the room I stayed in and you could only access wifi from reception area, but apart from that it was in a good location and was fine for a short stay.
it's simple a party hostel. come here if you want to party , get pissed as well as meet people.it is a huge place though so it can be difficult to meet people but it shouldn't be a problem if you are in a 4 bed and above mixed dorm. I wouldn't recommend for persons age 28 & above. There's a mini party in the huge bar downstairs every night. Biggest negative for me is the breakfast buffet, I still can't believe I paid 6 euros for that. arguable the worst food I've ever ate. Overall not too bad
The best hostel we stayed in during our trip through Italy and Switzerland. A definite recommendation for others passing through Florence!
The only thing don't like is has to be checked in only after 3pm even though you came back earlier after roaming around.
Nice people, a lot of noice but okay for one or to nights. Wifi out allmost all the time, was fixed in the end of my stay. Annoying when you want to organize stuff.

The wi fi is terrible! My room is in the new part of the hostel, great structure but did not have wi fi. And the wi fi in the lobby was bad too.
It was good, there's a computer room you can use for free, the 6 euro breakfast is great, the location is ok, near enough to SMN station. The only thing is I stayed in a 8-person mixed room and my roommates where rather noisy, so getting to sleep was not so easy. But the shower is very good and warm, and it's separate from the toilet, which makes it easier
more computers, but thats usually the case.
This is a very big hostel, industrial in scale yet without a kitchen or common room thus meeting people was difficult. There is very few reception staff thus service is slow but friendly. The rooms are quite nice and large with separate bathroom and shower (our room even having a double bed). Seems to be frequented by large tour groups. On a whole a passable if rather soulless experience.
This hostel is too big for the staff to cope with the amount of people. As a result it was extremely busy all the time, and staff were rude, short, and didn't really provide any other advice and only helped those checking in. Wifi was very bad. If you're a solo traveller stay else where. No chance of making friends here.
Good atmosphere, very busy! Top deck and bus about tours stay here. Good restaurant, bar, club and outdoor area. Not the place for a quiet night in, especially in the dorms in the main building. Wifi was fine for us in our rooms and in common areas.
