Great atmosphere

This is a large hostel so it is difficult to have much character. High turnover of people who stay here as topdeck, busabout and contiki use this hostel. Very clean and spacious rooms though and the trams run down the street making getting around pretty easy despite not being in the city centre.

Excellent hostel; couldn't believe there was actually a pool and a sauna, more like a hotel than a hostel! Really happy.

OK fine they have a swimming pool and sauna, and good staff (very nicely moved my reservation due to bus cancelations), but there are serious issues: - VERY FAR AWAY. One does not expect 'minutes' to be 30+. Not walkable at all. Dodgy feeeling neighborhood. - POOR HOUSEKEEPING. no toilet paper, dirty bathrooms, ... - BAD WIFI. super slow/weak in lobby (tablet couldn't connect; phone could but barely functional) and none in rooms - HIDDEN FEES: towel and lock 3 euro each

We don't expect you to walk to the center! It's a scenic 12min by tram & less than 1 EUR! You can even buy tickets at reception. Very sorry about the housekeeping slips--that's definitely not up to our standards. Most ppl are really happy w/ the wifi, so maybe you caught it at a bad time? I have to disagree with you thinking those are hidden fees--towels are advertised as being for hire and both of those purchases are optional! But you're welcome for the help with your reservation :)

Little bit out of city centre but was easy to catch tram into city centre.

The staff were great. Only thing is the bar and restaurant are pretty pricey compared to the local area. The location is pretty far from the city, but an easy tram ride (though fines are expensive without a ticket), and the distance makes the area pretty cheap for drinking and eating.

Can't say that I slept too well as it was so vry noisy here - wonderful to have a room with it's own bathroom but just way too noisy!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Sorry about the noise, but I'm glad you otherwise liked the place!! We have free earplugs if you just ask at reception :)

enjoyed the pool very much, the room was very clean. I paid for an eight person bedroom and they gave me a four person with only one other person in it. There are lockers available, but unless you have a lock be prepared to purchase one.

PLUS Prague was nothing compared to PLUS Berlin, but still had good facilities, nice beds and was clean. It is located a bit out of town but only 10 minutes by tram so is really easy. The only downside is that it is a stopover for a lot of tours such as contiki, top deck etc, so there are ALOT of Australians hanging around in big groups (I'm Australian myself). Overall I would still recommend as the price was really good, the service super efficient and facilities good

A bit far from the city centre but easily reachable by public transports. Free wifi, swimming pool and super cheap. Worth it

Clean, nice hostel in Prague with great facilities, a nice pool, perfect staff, and a pretty convenient location. It rides that nice line between party hostel and chill hostel - it's big enough to be whatever you want it to be.

If you have a rental service of the locker key, it will be better.

they charged about 15euro for a 24 hour laundry service, which was very expensive even if our clothes did smell good at the end! The room was very nice and big. The fire alarm went off and noone had any clue what to do or what was happening because the voice over instructions were in czech!

Friendly staff, lovely pool and sauna, good food in restaurant. But: bunk beds felt like they'd fall down at any moment

This place is massive and there is no way the staff could tell whether or not you're actually staying there,so the rumors of theft problems make sense. The dorms are cheap. Pretty clean. No kitchen. Full of young folks on gap year / summer holidays. Awesome having a pool/sauna in the hostel. The bar/restaurant feels like every typical college party I've ever been to in the US. Perfect for 18-22 year olds came to Prague to get drunk with australians.

Not central at all but close to trams and trains. Currency exchange at reception was helpful. Rooms were incredibly hot, woke up sweating and there was no way to cool them down

Bit out of the way but has great facilities and a good bar to meet people in etc. I was in a room where everyone was travelling alone. Not sure if it was on purpose but was great to meet people.

There was a common room present but it would have been beneficial to have an area to prepare/cook your own food , but there was a restaurant/bar on site. Hostel was great, very clean , a little distance from the centre of Prague but the hostel was ten mins from the centre. I travelled alone and the girls in the "girl dorm" were very welcoming and friendly, good social atmosphere in the hostel. Would stay there again!
