Amazing amazing amazing staff, specially Vinicius. I think it´s a really nice hostel that has the potential for getting quite better, improving things like the showers and the breakfast, but my experience at POA was quite positive.

Expensive but basic accommodation during the World Cup. Awesome atmosphere was mainly due to no girls and it was like a boys weekend with lots of beers and futbol.

it was the worst hostel ive ever seen. we walked into our tiny overcrowded room which smelt of mould of human urine and immediately got onto the internet, which was incredibly slow i might add and from alternative accommodation. after informing the unhelpful staff of our complete distain for what is obviously a very poorly looked after hostel we asked if we could get a refund on the last 2 nights or our booked stay we were told this was impossible. i was incredibly unhappy with this!!

Beds were grimy and the room was sweltering with a single fan. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. This place is alright for a night, but wouldn't stay longer. Halfway between the airport and bus station - walking distance to a metro stop. Cafe Frances next door serves a good-value set lunch.
