About a 5~10min walk to the metro, KL Sentral and the bus terminal. No laundry facilities available but nearby there are laundromats for a good price. The rooms are open, I stayed in the female dorm, which is a portioned section of the large mixed dorm with no door. Bed were simple and clean. Shower on the top floor was rather weak, wanted a quick shower but because of the weakness of the water it took a lot longer. Wifi is available, but only on the floor with reception.

The hostel is about 5 minutes walk from the KL sentral station. The staff and people living there are very friendly and considerate. The facility needs improvement. It seems there is no locker. And something was wrong with the lift.

This is a great hostel if you have an early morning flight or departure from KL, it is steps away from KL Sentral. However, the one big thing that bothered me is that the common area shuts down at 11.30 (that's where the wifi is) and the lights in the room are turned off at 11pm. I needed to use the Internet to make travel arrangements and there was no place to do it.

Friendly staff, lights out at 11pm was a mixed blessing, close to the station, so nice avoiding taxi fares to commute.

I've stay here a number of times through the years. Still has a location that best for early departures to the airport....and that"s why it's my first choice when getting to and from the airport is high priority.

PODs has one of the best staffs of any hostel, guest house or high end hotel i have ever been at. Very sharp guys here that run a top-notch operation. Even going so far as to go to the extra trouble to find and map a vegetarian eating place at Kuala Lumpur that one of the staff knew was good.

Upon arrival, we found a naked man sleeping in our room. We did get another room right away, quickly "cleaned" by the staff, who removed some tissues full of blood from the floor. Did not feel so clean. There were also bloodstains on the sheets. Would not come again. Also, the rooms are not really rooms, more like beds behind small walls (which don't go to the ceiling).

Location is very nice because it's near KL Sentral. Very secure also as only customers get key cards that would take you to the rooms. Free breakfast is quite nice, I loved it. WIFI is fast also. But I got a lot of bed bug bites from the dorm bed and couldn't sleep properly because I keep waking up in the middle of the night scratching myself.

BED BUGS. Recognized as well for the staff, I don't recommend you to sleep in this hostel if you want to rest. Very bad experience, as the day after I spent all day scratching.
