The staff were amazing, so helpful and welcoming. But it was nearly impossible to sleep. I had a private "room" but because the walls only go up halfway to the ceiling it was worse than a typical dorm room. Instead of sharing the space with less than 10 people you share it with the entire floor and can hear everything, including whispers and zippers and walking. You can see everyone's lights as well which were on all night.

Friendly staff, hostel is close to the metro so it's easy to move around. Loved that the local food market was just around the corner.

I LOVE this hostel! I stay here whenever I have an early flight from KLIA2. I've never stayed long enough to know if it has a social vibe, but it has everything else. Towels, breakfast (even if it's not technically breakfast hours), lockers, GREAT location. You can even take a nap in their common room if you don't plan on staying longer than 6hrs. Can't be beat!

Good location for getting the bus or klia ekspress, however, there's no point in paying extra for the single room as the walls (more like a divider) are so thin you may as well be in the dorm and they turn the lights out at 11pm. The staff were friendly and quick to help. I would advise this for anyone on their way home looking for a place close to the airport!

Find it a great place to stay in KL - I stay lots of times - always impressed ! Very clean and quiet and excellent location !! Food, transport, culture - all on tap !! Very friendly and easy going !! Enjoyed my many stays there ! Not a typical backpacker party place - considerate of all !!

It was so cheap. I live in single private room with window, I like this room was confortable for me. But near the hostel there are a little scared at night. But It's ok just beside MyHotel(?) securities are standing at night.

I really enjoyed the concept of this hostel, but the execution is rather poor. The location is truly unbeatable, and the common room/lounge has all thebackpacker needs. Upstairs it's a different story. It's not that the pods lack privacy but rather sound-proofing, so those giggling girls or that guy who wrapped all his laundry in plastic bags will still disturb your sleep even if you ha a private room. The beds are mere mattresses, and the showers achieve the "rustic" look they're looking for.

Everything was very good, especially the professionalism/courtiousness of the staff. Only and major drawback is that card payment is not possible. Rectify this and we will have a superb package.

Only stayed here one night. I had a slightly below average experience, but it was ok. Bathroom was really gross, I didn't want to use the toilets because they were disgusting. The rooms aren't really separated from each other, so if someone is awake talking etc, you can hear them because the walls don't connect to the roof. Beds are really basic and small, considering I stayed in other backpacker hostels for the same price and had better experiences. The location is easy to get to from airport.

Good place to stay with a nice relaxing lounge area. The rooms all have open lighting, so if you are coming in late all the lights are off. The staff was helpful, main staff are foreigners. Great location close to KL Sentral station.

Really friendly place, loved my single pod room with window, good hot showers, good wifi, convenient location.

1) Improve the ventilation if Air-conditioning is not "on" use forced ventilation to extract heat trap in the hostel towards out door. 2) Itchy and insect/bug bite, please send the matters under the sun to kill the bug or dust mites or other pest control means, use air matters etc.

PODs was an ideal location for my short stint in KL. I was impressed by the service from the staff who were all friendly and helpful. I got to meet the owner who was kind and personable. I also went to dinner with one of the Danish staff who was a cool guy and told me a bit about Malaysia. The dorms and facilities were clean and the common area is comfortable and fun. The lights are switched off at 11pm because the open plan style of their rooms which was touch annoying but not so bad.

The POD's hostel have a very good localization in Kuala Lumpur, 5 min by walk and you access to Kl sentral station, so it's very easy to visit KL and go to the airport. If you're hungry, no problem there is a supermarket down stairs, and so many street restaurants. And the most important the hostel is safe, clean and the staff very nice...

Convenient location. Lacked some attn to details such as too short blankets and having only one electrical plug in room.

It was good hostel, very clean and well organaised. I stayed female dorm. The room was a bit small and my locker was broken... Free Wi-Fi and breakfast were great. It was a bit dark in daytime because they were saving electricity, so it was difficult to stay in daytime.

Great wifi, nice staff, good air con, close to station.

Staff knowledgeable and helpful with good communication. An artistic cheerful flair to this Gem. Great location on a quieter street one back from KL Central with colourful Little India close by and convenience stores, tasty food and blind massage right at the doorstep. Felt very welcoming and loved the array of music played in the communal area, especially with the live guitar accompaniment.

just okay but excellent location.
