Certainly the best that you can expect from a hostel. VERY CLEAN. Any one who complains about this hostel most likely just had an annoying fellow traveler, and if they can't handle some snoring they should stay at a hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Big locker space. Spotless showers. Easy walk to MUNI (transportation).

this was a good hostel. clean and good for security. however u hav to walk up lots of stairs to get there. but the staff member gave me a glass of water for my efforts. when i travel im after fun and partys. and this hostel is not a real party hostel. but it is relaxed and a good sleep.

I appreciate being able to come and go during the day. Keys were not readily available when I checked in, and because I was leaving early next morning I had to check out the night before and return my key, so could not use the kitchen or other facilities in the morning before departing.

Staff was quite helpful and the food they were cooking smelled delicious, which is always nice.

The crew staff at the hostel was very kind and helpful. They didn't hesitate to provide assistance to me, being a new traveler to San Francisco, in navigating the city. I would definitely go back to the hostel to stay.

As soon as I arrived Brian offered me a glass of water and Shelley made me a cup of tea. It was really a cool place. No complaints from me!

A very friendly little hostel! Staff were so helpful & inclusive, was made to feel welcome straightaway. Very social- easy to meet others. Only downside was the morning wait for a shower or loo- 1 toilet & 2showers per floor of about 20. Otherwise had a great time- thanks Sean et al!

Maybe sometimes too much fun (not really quiet before midnight)
