This is a well-run, friendly, very clean, well-maintained building and the best value for the money I have found in years! Would definitely stay here again and for longer!

Should modernize the facilities and specially the rooms carpets and linen. Hiring a parking space would be the most important improvement due to the difficulty of getting a parking space in SD

The hotel is a great value for the money and is clean. The is a laundry room and a microwave, and these are a great money saver, in terms of needing to fly with less luggage and not have to eat out at restaurants. There are groceries within walking distance or a short bus ride. Internet access was difficult, but there are ways around the problem, including purchasing local wi-fi access from the Gaslamp Merchants Association. I certainly would stay at the Pacifica again and recommend it.

I got a lot more than I was expecting for my money. I wasn\'t expecting a TV in the room, wifi, and towels for example. Actually the wifi didn\'t work for me except for Skype, but I didn\'t bother to ask for help, and later I figured that it might have been my laptop. The location is excellent - 5 minutes on foot from the Convention Center and the bay. Very secure area and place, and very clean, despite the furniture being old. If I ever go to San Diego again, I\'ll go stay there.

I am a student and stayed at pacifica hotel for a conference. Concidering the location and the price it is a bargain. Nice Bathrooms and friendly staff. The room felt very old and worn but was clean. I would recommend it if you are on a budget and want a private room.

it was a very small room and it was very noisy in the hotel. We left on night earlier because we couldn't stay there anymore. We felt very unsecure.

Old hotel but good location. Relatively quiet because the bar beneath the hotel has closed down! I was charged the full amount despite paying my 10% deposit. Overall OK for a few nights.
