While the staff was friendly enough, the area was sketchy. We didn't get in until midnight, and were excited for a good night's sleep. At 2:00 am, we heard screaming & pounding on the streets. This escalated over about 15 minutes until a woman started screaming for her life. It was the most violent, scary sound I'd ever heard. Apparently, a man was attacked by 5 men & beaten badly. His girlfriend was screaming for help.

It look Likes student dormitory. Kitchen wasn't clean enough but comfortable bathroom.

We stayed in 10 bed mixed dorm which was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable, however, the room was stuffy and had no locker, cupboard etc, and lacked convenient lighting and power sockets. The bathrooms were not clean but showers worked quite well. The kitchen was terribly under-equipped. All cooking facilities and surfaces were dirty and not enough fridge space. We didn't trust the hygiene of the breakfast offered or plates, cups etc. Doors to street and dorms left open - unsafe

Wasn't bad. Nice place. Showers were good except the shower doors. They were broken. I had to fix mine. And my friend had to fix there's. And if I could fix it with my hands it shouldn't be hard to just go in with tools and tighten it up.

Great place! Staff where friendly, good location and clean. Only recommendation would be to maybe have shower mats in the bathrooms. Overall had a great stay.

It a was place to stay, nothin wrong to say just thinking about price which is cheapest one.

There's no option to pay with credit card :(

Hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hostel itself wasn't very clean. Also the breakfast is only on from 8am-10am so those having to leave earlier miss out on breakfast. Most other hostels start breakfast from 7/7:30am.

The hostel offers everything you need as a backpacker. It offers affordable rooms and a decent breakfast. The location is excellent, you can reach most of the sights by foot which saves you the money for buses. Recommendable Hostel over all.

very satisfying services. It would be better if the hostel provide lockers so that we can keep our belongings savely in the hostel.

When we arrived there with my sister, the person who welcomed us was really nice. But then we went into our dorm which was so small that basically the only free space left was the one between three bunk bed, even for us who aren't claustrophobic (fear of small spaces). We did NOT sleep AT ALL that night, there were loads of noises coming from people going through the corridor downstairs and in the stairs, we never heard the staff telling people to be quiet! Overall disappointing don't recommend

I spent a night at this hostel. Everything was fine, except the fact that the morning of check-out we would have liked to have a hot shower but the hot water wasn't working. I told the receptionist the problem at 10am, she said that the heating was switched off. She switched it on but the water never became hot, we checked-out later, wasted time of our trip and in the end without the possibility to have a hot shower before leaving. I was surprised especially for the deficiency of the service.

This place is great value for money. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great nights sleep too. Nothing flashy but all you need as a backpacker!

There is no reception and the man who owns the place isn't always there. We had to ask help to someone to get into the place because after ringing the bell a few times no one came to open to us. The entrance smelled really bad and it wasn't really clean. However, the beds were okay and the bathrooms had been renovated and were ok although one of the two toilets couldn't be used.

There was a group of very noisy and obnoxious students up all night being very noisy. I know it's not the hostel's fault but maybe more enforcement for noise? Also, one toilet was clogged and another shower wasn't working.

Cramped and tiny. Staff was okay. Didn't seem to know much of what was going on. A good 15 min from the bus station and downtown.

The kitchen is only open from 8am to 10 pm. The common room is locked at midnight. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms, so people end up sitting in the hall way. The 10 person room at the front doesn't always lock, but you've got 10 ppl in and out anyway. Staff were friendly. Seems secure, no lockers tho. About a 20 min walk to the center of the city, and its right next to queens university. Didn't seem like the safest area tho

Comfy, secure, and a good breakfast. Lots of space to hang out.

The hostel itself is really nice. The only problem was the room temperature. The windows couldn't be open and it was way too hot in here for a human being to sleep well (No matter how drunk you get).

Basic facilities, hostel is located outside of center of the city. But a breakfast is included in the price. Staff is excellent, friendly and very helpful.
