Room was clean and tidy and the tv room was nice, kitchen not so hot compared to other hostels we've stayed in. Just all over could do with an update from reception to the kitchen to the outside area but clean beds and good location, well done.

Travelled to many places and this would easily be one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. The location is terrible and the facilities equally as bad. The hot water in our room didn't work for three days. The place was extremely noisy and the staff made zero attempt to stop it. In fact, they seemed to invite all their local friends to the hostel to party because all the bars were closed. Locals used this as a party venue (>4am both nights). Pity, because the paddy tours are great

The room was very dirty, under the beds there was food, cups and magazines. I know it is a hostel and I don't usually expect much, much I have been in others and for the same price the quality was much better.

Its perfectly acceptable for the price, but lacking in atmosphere, and the layout of the social area doesn't encourage much mixing. We couldn't connect to WiFi the entire time we were there and our bathroom floor was a bit mucky.

I arrived as planned. Unfortunately I had no choice but to check out shortly after I arrived. The receptionist did not orientate me well on arrival and provided vague instructions. He gave me a key to room 19 and said it was up 1.5 floors. I could not find the room. Some lads came out of their rooms and said there was no room 19 and I also could not find my room. I have finished a long day at work and flown in from Manchester and was carting a heavy case. After 10 mins I was not happy and left

Despite that it was very cold, though I know that different standard is for Irish people, the stay was excellent!

The heating system didn´t work during the days that I spend there. Everything in the building was so cold.

Paddy's Palace was a great place to stay. I met a lot of friendly people and the staff was always ready to help. The only thing that was a bit hard was the cold. Somehow the heater didn't work. However, I would definitly recommend Paddy's Palace as a budget accommodation.

Good hostel, good location, friendly staff and hot showers. Only downside is the kitchen is shut from 10pm.

We came to the hostel at 23h, but reception doesn't work all night so we had to knock and ask some people who were in the hostel to open the door so we could get in. Staff was ok, but not interested, they didn't offer us their cheap tours and other activities. Room, bathroom and toilets were clean and they had hot water. Free breakfast is a great thing! Value for money is excellent!

Everything just average, but like the most cheap hostel, the problem is not the infrastructure but the people. Not travellers, just partyers.

The Hostel is currently under renovation and the results are becoming good! The bathroom was improved and the hot showers were really nice! The staff was really nice and helpful. But wait... the best part was the FREE TOUR to Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge and Giant's Causeway provided. That for sure was the big differential and make it the best value for money in all hostels!

No reception after midnight. As my plane was late, I arrived during the night and could not get a bed in paddy's palace.

We couldn't get in to the property without calling and asking them to let us in. We were told there was no card facilities. When we hauled our suitcases up the stairs we were greeted by a room that had coat hangers strewn every where, it looked like the room had never been vacuumed and the bed was disgusting and sagging in the middle. It's fair to say we did not stay longer than 10 minutes.

Actually some sections had brand new showers and bathrooms, but it's up to us to keep them cleaner also if we stay only for a couple of days...
