It's definitely worth the money and the location was good but the rest of it is just so so. The free tour was worth the money but do ask for it as they sometimes try to run away from giving you the free tour.

The hostel is located close to the Queen\'s University Campus which is amazing to see if you\'re a student. The staff is very friendly, always sociable and helpful. The kitchen looked like it has not been cleaned for months but you could still eat in it. The room was nice and big enough for 4 people. There were not enough showers for the number of rooms the hostel has, but still managed to take one each. The breakfast is very basic like in any other Hostel.

I found this hostel to be very dirty. The rooms were extremely packed compared to other hostels I stayed at. They smelled bad and the window wouldn't open so it quickly became stuffy. The staff was scarce when we got there, and I only found Alex to be helpful. The dining room was also dirty and the place itself seemed to be falling apart. There were holes everywhere. Also, the shower ran cold water 3/4 of the time. The free tour was great and it was the only thing that made the stay worth it.

Very helpful staff and other people were friendly and welcoming. The building could use a little TLC and the windows didn't open despite the scorching weather, but for the price I would definitely stay here again!

Met some great people in the room, which was unexpected because this is now my 9th time staying in a hostel and its never happened. Water was always cold, but rooms were always stiffling because the windows didn't open. Breakfast sucked. The tour is a good opportunity but not really free- you have to pay to do each attraction except for Giants Causeway.

The building is very very run down and in desperate need of refurbishing... The bathrooms available on my floor were always stone cold after 3 people had showered. The doors were very noisy so they slam all night. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows need replacing. The staff were great though and super helpful. The free tour was good too and redeemed the state of the hostel somewhat.

Clean the room before new guests and get new sheats. Horrible! The kitchen including the beakfast could be a millions times better. For the same price we paid for a two bed-room and toilet in the hall we could stayd at a hotel down town. we paid nearly 58 pounds for one night and didnt incl the deposite for the key.

Hi was the first time that I was accommodated in a hostel. It was a formidable experience positively. Besides being very cheap, I found a hostel clean, the staff are always ready to help with all my constant questions and upon arrival I realized that the option to choose the Paddy\'s Palace was the best. The atmosphere is very friendly and I will keep friends with some of the guests with whom I spent some amusing moments. My bedroom was very light during the day due to having two large window

Although the hostel was not in the best shape, the atmosphere was amazing. Close to the uni and pubs but a walk to the city center. The "free" bus tour that is advertised isn't really free, you have to pay for the sights.

Parts of the hostel were under construction and so there was a lot of dust, boards, and mess around the place. It could also be quite loud at night, and it is definitely a party hostel. With that said, if you're traveling alone and looking to meet people, this is a great place to go! Also, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and willing to chat. If you don't mind a little mess, this place is great!

Complicated to find the hostel as there is no visible signs. I didn't have time to have a look at the kitchen or common room. It was just a place to sleep. So didn't meet anybody as I wasn't looking for that that day.

We believe that there should be some work done to the floorings and perhaps a major refurbishment could help in bringing more youth travelers like me in seeking for modern designs.

Very nice staff and a nice atmosphere like in students houses. We couldn't open our window in the room, that was very bad. And all the water was away one afternoon until 12 o'clock next day...the toaster was broken, the oven was broken, but the other things were nice. You have to walk 20-30 minutes from the city centre, but the Botanic Garden is not so far away.

General restoration of wear and tear in the building would really up the standards. Maybe if the walls in the bedrooms were painted white the rooms would look a lot bigger and cleaner.
