The place is fairly neglected. Even if the 6 bed room that my friend and myself stayed in wasn't too bad (good duvets), and the toilets were clean we kept finding very dodgy people in the common areas. The kichen is also very messy. About the location, it's around 15 min from the bus station, which is good enough. In any case, the overall impression was not good, I wouldn't be recommending it.

don't EVER go there! No light in bathroom, only cold water the first 2 days, lots of noise at night (until AM) The place is neglected: walls and floors are pretty damaged, electrical wires appear everywhere ...

best thing is the free tour n worse thing is the shower places with transparent glass doors in a shower room that can't properly lock! but it's definitely cheap...if that's what you prefer.

I stayed at Paddys Palace for 2 nights and on arrival got my room upgraded to a 4 bed dorm which was awesome! They also offered me the free giants causeway tour and the driver troy was great! I loved it! The staff were so friendly and ready to help me with anything I needed. I was travelling solo so they even took me out with them to the local pubs! I would stay there again if I was ever in Belfast!

the decor of the hostel may need a few touch ups, but other than that it was ok.

This hostel is whopper, its a perfect party hostel. The staff are all very chilled, the mural tour they run is brilliant, we had bobby, reallly nice bloke. Its in a decent area, only about 5mins walk to a lot of good pubs (laverys). It isnt the cleanest place but for 6 quid its well worth it. If your looking for a good session stay here.

You couldn't pay us to stay here again. This place is a joke the only good thing about its the free tour! It's not clean and you have to go searching for a toilet that isn't out of order! Don't stay here!!

Paddy's Palace is a great value for the money paid. The location is convenient, right down the street from Queen's University. The bathrooms are dirty with water on the floor, but the beds are comfortable enough and the rooms are warm. You aren't going to want to spend a lot of time there, but it is good enough for a place to crash. You get a free breakfast of toast and cereal.

By far the most discusting hostel I have ever stayed in. All of the toilets were blocked (and the staff members didn't seem the care), the walls were falling apart, the kitchen was a complet mess. Let's just say, I didn't shower there because I thought I would be cleaner if I didn't. The bedrooms were ok. The staff was uninformed and not very curtious. The free breakfast was ok, just toast and cereal. I didn't see any tea or coffee. The common room closes really early...

Decent hostel. Nice feel to the place, with a very homely common room and kitchen.

Paddy's Palace in Belfast definitely was an excellent value for the money. The location was not bad, room was clean (though most of the showers and toilets could use some work), the lounge and kitchen was clean and comfy, and the staff was great. Emma was extremely helpful to me, answering all my questions, and helping me out with everything. The free Giant's Causeway tour is definitely a great reason to stay here. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Belfast.

I do not recommend this hostel. The hostel not secure, front door left wide open after 11pm when they said it was locked. In kitchen there were exposed wires and a leak with dripping water which caused a power cut the first night. Also woken up by staff shouting at 7am threatening to kick peple out. Toilets were filthy and there was rubbish in the hallways where bedsheets are kept that wasn't cleaned up till afternoon. You can get much better hostel for the same price as here.

They lost my booking and I had to find another hostel at the very last minute. Extremely disorganized. They need to get their act together.

Not too far from the coach station, excellent free trip to beautiful places, heater didn't work but they had a replacement so it was ok, then quite far walking from the city centre, like 30 min. I didn't use buses but there are. Very cheap and I recommend it because is cheap and the free trip from Monday to Thursday.

Excellent kitchen with a nice smell! Really made me feel at home! Although the shower isn't so pleasing, overall, the flat is well equipped. The Queen's University of Belfast is nearby and the hostel is not far from city centre.

Really enjoy the place, the Staff even came out in the icy weather when I could not find the place after coming from Galway (3h30 drive on the ice). Really enjoyed and had a great sleep, also very quiet at night.

This place is hell on earth, no heating, the rooms are cold, the beds are noisy, the showers are okay, the toilets refuse to flush and the place could do with some general improvements.

I would not recommend Paddy's Palace in Belfast. Our room was frigid (the heater was getting fixed "tomorrow", yeah right), and there was blood all over the showers (which had no warm water.) One of the main selling points is the free trip to Giant's Causeway, but read the fine print, it's not free for friday, saturday, or sunday. The hostel is somewhat clean and some staff are friendly and helpful, but others are misinformed, telling you the incorrect time buses leave/return, etc.
