I only stayed few hours - arrived late from Cork and had a flight at 7 the following morning. The room was nice, toilets were clean. The free airport shuttle is definitely a plus. The only bad thing was that the fire alarm went off 5 times during the night for no reason. Wasn't easy to go back to sleep!

This hostel is handy for before you head off on a paddywagon tour but that's about it as there is no atmosphere given the rooms are in a separate building and the common area is the reception. The ensuite bathroomin our dorm was damp and smelt awful from the water. The owner needs to reinvest into the hostel because it's obvious he's making a load out of the whole operation.

Bathrooms could be much cleaner and reception (where you get your wifi) should be open 24/7.

the bathrooms need to be cleaned more regularly having only the two toilets and two showers to share betweeen a couple of rooms result in it getting disgusting really quickly. in the whole time i was there i did not find a time in which the bathrooms where clean once. it would be great if the carpet in the bedrooms where cleaned every day they where disgusting. othere than that i really enjoyed my stay.

Very unclean, toliets are horrible and the bathroom was not cleaned for the entire stay (4 days). I saw the housekeepers change the linen one day and they do not change the doona covers - only the sheets. From my dorm the traffic noise was very heavy. Only good thing is free transfer from airport.

+ It's great that they have the free airport shuttle and day trip to Kilkenny if you stay with them a few nights - definitely amazing value in a slightly pricey city! + Free cereals and toast + Some dorm rooms have ensuite shower and toilet which is great - Organisation is a bit off I felt - Where is the sign for the Paddywagon at the airport? Put a sign up so you can just sit at zone 14 without worrying you might be in the wrong place!

I think in order to save the people working at the front desk time in having to open the door to your building, is there not some way the person staying in the hostel could open the door to their building on their own without having to get someone to open it? The water pressure in the sink in both bathrooms in my building was pretty strong. What I mean by this is that when I turned on the water it came out full blast and I ended up getting my shirt wet.

I stayed there the night before my Paddywagon tour and the night after - both times the staff were really great even at 6:45am!! when i got in off the bus from London!!! It was great to be able to store my luggage and get to enjoy the sights of Dublin. I was impressed with the standard of the rooms and the bathrooms were simple and clean.

Rooms were rather bland, and they didn't have lockers. Breakfast was also pretty minimal, and you have to do your own dishes. Lobby was nice though, and the free airport shuttle was great!

If i say the staff was friendly that would be a huge understatement!!! They were always so upbeat and ready to assist!! It was also really close to the center of everything so the location was so convienent!! Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms!!

This hostel SUCKED. "Security" doors on the side of the building were broken all three nights I stayed there, making it very difficult to get in. Keys are set to expire every morning around 11 a.m. - myself/my roommates were not told this, and got locked out. (I was locked out after reception had already closed - good thing someone in the room let me in!) Our keys expired randomly in the middle of the night so everyone got locked out as they got up to use the toilet. Facilities smelled. Unsafe.

I stayed at Paddy's Palace during kind of a rain crisis - the night before the october flood. I bet it was a hard night for the staff, but it didn't affect my stay in any way, and I know, they did their best to make all the guests comfortable. Full professionalism!
