fantastic location, amazing staff super easy to get along with. Having to get the staff to come open your door was a bit of a pain but made sense as it added an extra bit of security which this place could definitely upgrade. although i found the indian bloke at reception not very helpful and didnt seem very impressed that i asked to go back into my room after i used the main reception area. overall though i would stay here again.

It was a good experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and if I were to return to Dublin I would stay there in a heartbeat. The free airport shuttle was also great.

We had just come from another hostel in Dublin, &0nly made the switch to Paddy´s because they offered a free airport shuttle. The staff were repeatedly rude, unhelpful, and for some inexplicable reason, acted quite holier-than-thou. The place was bare with little character. The internet stopped working 3 times in the 24hrs we were there, and the employee wouldn´t believe us, even when 3 of our showed him our unconnected laptops. Breakfast was lack luster. There are MUCH better hostels in dublin.

The hostel wasnt bad but there was nothing outstanding about it. It was a bit weird that the two showers were in the one room with no curtains on the door, so you could share with someone else and be able to see each other shower or take up the two showers. We also had a school group on our level and they were very loud which was frustrating but there was nothing there was nothing the hostel could do about that as we didnt complain or say anything about it. Prob wouldnt recommend this hostel.

I booked a female only 8 bed dorm room. Late in the evening was the first Time I saw my room mates and they were two men. The heating was turned on and could not be adjusted in the room, thus I had to open the window overnight to be able to breathe and not overheat. It was not cold weather. The noise from the train, tram, pedestrian crossing, people outside, ambulances with sirens and cars were relentless and kept me awake for most of the night, even with ear plugs in!

Perfect location, everything was walking distance. Basic accomodation, but was value for money. Great pick ups and drop offs for tours and airport. Appreciate free internet and free breakfast.

We loved Paddy's Palace in Dublin!! It was our first time staying at a hostel. We booked for our honeymoon and were expecting a place to sleep and nothing more but we were pleased with friendly staff (Pooja is awesome!), a secure clean building, and a tour which was fantastic!! I'd definitely recommend Paddy's Palace. Don't overlook this place it was such a positive experience, we chose to stick with the Paddy's Palace hostels when we stayed in Derry too! :) Thanks!

I did ask questions about potential working in the hostel as I e-mailed a CV months ago. I never got a satisfactory response.

Paddy's has a great location, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Security was good, bathrooms were pretty clean and the bus service from the airport a real bonus.

We paid the "outstanding" amount upon arrival as per the conditions. We were not offerred to inspect the room prior to payment of 45euro cash & had this been the case, we would certainly not have taken the room. We found Room 2 to measure somewhere in the vicinity of 7foot x 7foot. In this extremely small room was a double bunk which was cut into the windowsill, and a mirror, barely enough room to leave luggage & no towels. Letter dated 2Oct to Mgr for refund - with no response. Went elsewhere

really annoying having to validate your card everyday and to wait for front desk guy to open the door if you are not in the main building.

Our room (Room 1) was mouldy. It smelt damp and like someone had left smelly shoes in there. Check the back of the curtain as there was mould on there. We asked for a refund but were told as we had already paid on the card we couldn't get one and would have to e-mail the owner to discuss with him.
