I wouldnt stay at paddys palace again! Dirty rooms (garbage and hair from the people staying in the room before), very loud, disgusting breakfast, grey horse on the walls and in the shower, trains running in front of the window (very loud). Only positive thing about paddys palace is the very central location.

The hostel itsself was grand but the poor girl that was working was on by herself and seemed overwhelmed when a problem cropped up, and i know its a hostel but the breakfast was terrible, if you cant even provide a nice cup of tea , theres something very wrong!

Paddy`s was a very frıendly envıronment, comfortable beds and good servıces. The tour offers through the hostel are amazıng and very cheap, I only dıd the free 1-day tour (whıch was awesome), but many people I talked to had done 3-day tours and were very satısfıed. The only thıng was ıt ıs located next to the tram whıch starts up around 5am, so that ıs loud... and there was constructıon goıng on all nıght when I stayed. I was stıll able to sleep though. Breakfast ends early (9:30 am)!

To advertise this hostel as a "luxury" hostel is not truthful. This was a VERY basic hostel with limited space. Not all amenities were in working order and made showering very difficult. They need to spend some of the money they are making one their properties and then they will find their overall profit will increase dramatically. This needs to happen to their self owned B & B's also.

Paddy palace Dublin was better than some of the other paddywagon hostels around the South of Ireland. In Dublin unlike most of the others the staff seemed more experienced and more helpful. The hostel in Dublin seemed cleaner than most of the other paddywagon hostels. Security seemed good but at the same time could maybe put in some lockers for bags in rooms. The front desk seemed to always be staffed or there was someone on duty to let us in through the security doors.

I found the hostel to be very old and the rooms smelt of mould and the bathrooms were very old. dirty and smelt like urine. We canceled the second night we had booked and stayed next door at Issacs as they were clean and fresh.

Basic accommodation, but you get good value for money. Short walk to temple bar area. Fairly clean.

The quality of the hostels was poor but the B & B, guest houses & Inns were great.

The bathrooms were really bad. There is no heat adjustment on the showers and when I complained about the water being scalding hot the staff told me to try another bathroom.

Not a welcoming staff when I arrived. Too many people in the hostel for the number of washrooms and showers. Was ALWAYS waiting in line for either. In fact, I was unable to take a shower at 6:30AM because there were too many people waiting and I would have missed my tour (which left at 8... 1.5 hours later!!)

We had a private room for two people - but it seemed more like a storeroom. You couldn't open the window and it smelled badly. Not a very nice experience. The staff was very nice and we went on a tour with paddywagon which was really great fun.

This is the third time I have stayed at Paddy's Palace and once again I was impressed, particularly by the staff, who went out of their way to look after me. Great location, easy walking distance to the centre of town, with free shuttle from the airport. Would definitely recommend the tours. Great hostel.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. I went during a very slow period so I was alone in the room, therefore I can't say what the entertainment/fun aspect of it would be! I liked it quiet.

We stayed there for 3 nights and were a bit disappointed with the size of the private rooms for 2 pax. The location is very good in rapport with the sightseeing places however, the hostel is right next to a traffic light, trams and the only train line in Dublin. Unless you become a really good friend of Guinness, you will have problems with the noise during the night. Other than that, the staff is great and the place is very clean!
