Great location! But our side of the room was missing a lightbulb, the front door lock was very difficult to work the key in, and there was literally a pile of broken tiles and unused building supplies under my bed... Also, the toilet/shower room was very very damp and would never get dry... But we were in an easy walking distance to anywhere, so that was great.

The hostel was in the city center and near the park. They don't laundry and if they have only one key for each room so if you leave you leave your keys in the reception even if its close, so everybody can take it...

The hostel was great. Only complaint was the bathroom for the dorm was on another floor. Oh yeah, don't trust anyone who likes Vegemite.

This was my second favorite hostel thus far (out of 10). Very accessible kitchen, friendly staff, and large rooms. Wi-fi worked fine in rooms. Towels were 1 euro. The only downsides were: very small communal room, only room for 5 people and they left 7 large trash bags on the inside of the front door for like 4 days which began to stink. It is located 5 walking minutes from a beautiful Irish National Park. 5 walking minutes from the bus station. Cool town. Grocery store 30 seconds from hostel.

This is a simple hostel. You need to leave your key before you leave and pick it back up when you get back. This kind of makes you feel like you're "checking in" every time you go out. Also, they just ask you what room you're in and have no way of knowing if it's you're room or not. Theoretically, someone could just go by and say they have a room and they'll be given your key. Location is great and the room was very clean. The only thing I would have liked is a razor outlet and towels.

The staff could have been nicer and the place could have been cleaner and more confortable, but we were looking for a cheap accomodation, and that it was...

It was a fine stay in Killarney, with tours easily organised by Rachel. It would seem that she may need some more staff to assist her as she was flat out the entire time!

what a great hostel! would definitly stay again. meet some great people from all over the globe here and went off travelling with them after i meet them here. free wifi in the lounge room and decent sized showers that work properly, large kitchen and right in the centre of the city. would recommend staying at least 3 nights to see the best of killarney. make sure you do the ring of kerry tour through paddy wagon aswell - its great.

Stayed at Paddy's for 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot. Loved getting toast and jam and coffee in the morning. Great value for money. If you need a place to stay for the night I absolutely recommend it! Thanks to Rachel (receptionist) for her kindness and very good work at the hotel!

This hostel is very basic but you get exactly what you pay for! Especially if you get the excellent " stay one night get one night free" deal! Rooms are comfortable, kitchen is accessible, and there is a small common area/TV room. There is wifi but only one internet terminal which doubles as the reception computer. Breakfast is just toast and drinks, but that's fine - this place is a real bargain!

For the price and for what you get for it, you'd have to be an idiot not to stay here. We would definitey recommend it.

this place was good. had hot showers and a huge kitchen. you can book tours through here which is super convenient. the one girl seemed a little out of it the whole time but it didnt effect me much. the hostel was just down the road from the town center so it didnt get to loud. would definitely stay here again and at 9 euro a night you cant go wrong

Good hostel because it was cheap and got a free night. The American girl that worked there had no information or local knowledge. Seemed more interested in her Facebook. The Irish guy was a lot More helpful. Over all wasn't to bad. Shower pressure was fantastic!!
