Paddy's Palace Killarney Reviews

The Palace looks a bit shabby and basic but everything works, it's clean, a good price, and an excellent location, so don't let it put you off. If this place had a lick of paint it would be excellent. We had a private double room and it was literally just a bed in a room but the bathroom and shower were great and we could lock our room and spread out, which we were happy about being on the road a while.

The manager tried very hard to make my stay a good one. She just needs a better facility to work with.

I enjoyed my stay her and would definitely stay here again. It was clean, inviting, great value, awesome location, wifi access, and breakfast is included. The only reason I marked off for security is because the rooms are actual key access so if you're staying in a 12 bed dorm and the last person forgets to lock the door, then you're sleeping in an unlocked room all night.

This is a great hostel! The staff was great and the Internet connexion worked perfectly! All of this for only €7 a night! Breakfast tip: Contrary to what some might think, breakfast isn't served. You have to make it yourself. Superbe auberge! Excellent accueil et connexion Internet WiFi impeccable! Prix modique: 7 euros par nuit! Near to the lakes; friendly staff; lock of our private room door didn't work properly; facilities okay.

The place and the staff were lovely but a little more cleaning in the rooms would go along way.

Great location and staff was very helpful. In the city center, but also easily walkable to Killarney National Park for cycling, hiking, etc. Would stay here again!

Location is ideal and the price is unbelievable. It's not only cheap but spotless. crisp white bed linen, great tv room and kitchen and breakfast was included and all for 8 euro. would highly recommend! will be back!

A great experience, we loved our stay. Louise was so lovely, we checked and asked for an upgrade last minute as we were feeling really unwell and she saw to it that we were made as comfortable as possible. Stay 2 nights get the 3rd night free was an awesome bargain. Would definitely recommend.

One toilet and one shower gor a 12 bed dorm is challenging in the morning especially when it is in obe room. But for 8 € a night its ok.

The location is absolutely prime: right by the entrance to the National Park, a right in town, and about a 5 minute walk to the train station. Very helpful and accommodating with a great price. I would absolutely recommend people looking into this place if they are looking for great access, advice, and value for their money

One of the best atmospheres of the hostels I've been in... everyone was really friendly and helpful and the common room/kitchen area was always full of people chatting. Staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean!

Paddys Place was a great experience! The location is central and easy to find, the rooms and hostel were clean, breakfast was included and a great way to start the day, the price was great, and the hostel staff were very helpful! Louise was very accommodating with bag storage and checkout, and as part of a promotion I was able to stay a 3rd night free! Highly recommend - thank you very much!

We were just in Killarney for the night after driving the ring of Kerry and needed a place to stay. This place was a little quirkier than hostels I've stayed at in the past, but very clean and great for what we needed.

Excellent hotel.

The hostel staff was friendly and gave great directions and recommendations, the places was clean and cozy, great location.

We were 6 in the same room and everything was perfect. The private shower worked perfectly as well and it was clean.

I stayed the night before a charity hike and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The price was very reasonable and the place was easy find I would recommend Paddys Palace in Killarney and would stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay here at Paddy's place. It was a great value for the money. I stayed in the 11 Euro room, which has six bunks and an en-suite. The hostel was pretty no frills, but nice all the same. Lulu was wonderful, she was so sweet. It was like staying at a friends house (You know, if your friend runs a hostel). She is really understanding and helpful. A real gem. I would defiantly come back.
