great very welcoming hostel. Perfect location! very cute puppy to play with. shower wasn't always hot but most times got warm. Nice big bright rooms. owners are very helpful. go to Beans coffee shop nearby! ! ! one of the best memories from Nepal. they know the good local spots for food and make the best honey latte!
There is good restaurant on the top terrace with good food and decent prices. It closes a bit early - about 9 PM. At the same time the door of the hostel is closing. There was a bottle of mineral water waiting for us in the room which is great when you come from a trip. The directions to the hostel could be better - it has a great location but without clear instructions we lost 30 minutes to find it. The hostel is located in the protected area of Bhaktapur so there is an entry fee of $15.
First of all I have to say that I stayed in probably the least good room in the place. However, that was my fault. I booked the cheapest and didn't see that it was a small twin, next to the door and without a bathroom. Not the fault of the hostel at all. The room was fine for 14 bucks a night but I would try and get a better one next time. The building itself is beautiful, the location is perfect. You won't find better in Bhaktapur in terms of being central and the owners are lovely. Reccomend
The service and food at the roof-top restaurant was of a very high standard and well-priced. T
