You instantly get the feeling that the owner Yiannis and his lovely wife Marina have infused the hostel with a lot of care and attention, that this is not just a business but that they genuinely care about their guests and want to offer you a special place to stay where you can feel comfortable, are treated warmly and have everything you need at a nice price! Special mention for the absolutely lovely Myriam they have working there, who is simply an angel and a joy to be around :)

LOVED MY STAY HERE! Very clean, safe, quiet. Friendly, warm environment with plants. The cooking stove is good to cook with (lots of heat); plenty of cooking materials available. The regulars are full of character and lots of fun to be around. Myriam is GREAT; takes great care of the place and helps you. Foodstuffs, butcher shop, supermarket, coffee shops, other markets and facilities are nearby. You really get everything they claim to offer in the hostel description. I recommend it VERY much.

the hostel is situated in good area of athens. the city center is not far . 10-15 minutes by walking .the hostel has good rooms, and comfortable beds, good kitchen with fridge, cooking facilities, tv room, and many chairs and tables for sitting in the court. The stuff is very helpful and frindly. The hostel is clean, good bathroom, hot shower, the social life was perfect. so We had with michel and terry (longtermguests)good food together and some cheap beers, which you cou can get 50m away.

Great atmosphere, people there were great. But they charge for everything and you dont get hot water unless you pay 50 cents and is for just 8 minutes, which sucks. Also they got no heating so we were all freezing all the time.

The host was really kind...met some crazy dudes over there. Its kind of a pain to take a 50 cents coin every time you need to shower..but you already know that when you book. Besides that everthing was good.

This is a great hostel for the money. It was even nicer because tourist season is slowing down, so there were wasn't a overcrowded feeling and never waits for the showers, it was actually quite peaceful when we stayed. Staff is amazingly kind and helpful, you do have to pay .50 for a hot shower... Odd.. BUT.. It's kind of worth it because it's super hot water. Past 2 hostels were luke warm showers. Lots of little trendy cafes around the block... The walk to center 'seems' to be about 20-30min.
