In short: The Pak-Up-Hostel is one of the best (if not the best) hostels I ever stayed in. The staff is very helpful and nice. The people you meet there are all very good and the whole hostel is very clean, secure and in total just very very nice. The only thing you could complain about is the fact that Krabi has not as much to offer as other places, but the Pak-Up makes up for that with it's low price and the rooftop bar. Awesome Hostel!

Nice hostel, with a good roof bar. A little mix up when we arrived (being assigned to a female only dorm by mistake) but the staff were really apologetic about it and it was quickly resolved. Would really recommend this to people staying in krabi town.

Great value for money, clean rooms, friendly staff, centrally located in Krabi town, there's not a great deal to do here, but easy to get trips booked or head to the fantastic Railay beach nearby. Two bars one downstairs one on the roof, great for socialising and meeting other travelers, only intended to stay one night but ended up here for five! Had a great time and met awesome people, would definitely stay here again!

Great place. Great people. Rooms are VERY well air conditioned. A bit too cold even for a Canadian!

the people running Pak-Up are really nice. One of the guys taking the ferry to koh phi phi left is money pouch on the sofa in the lobby. One of the employees took it all the way to the ferry terminal to give it back. Some people don't like the location but I found it relaxing and quaint. Krabi town is a less touristy than aonang and railey beach.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, the beds were super comfy, and the bunks were super solid, and the lockers were super huge and conveniently below the beds. This hostel is really well designed and great attention to detail has been spent in the interior design of this place. Would definitely stay here again if in Krabi.

The place to be for backpackers !

Lovely clean hostel with hotel standard beds. The main downfall is the very poor Wi-Fi connection even in the lobby where it is ment to be good. Had to pay and use the pcs in the lobby to get online. Other than that lovely place.

Hostel was in a great location in Krabi town and amazing value for what we paid. The rooms are big and clean, so it doesn't feel cramped even though there are 10 people in the room. If you want to party, there's plenty of bars around and facilities within the hostel to mingle. I was unfortunate to have some drunken room mates come in late and a chainsaw snorer that kept me awake all night, but this can't be helped in dorms and is by no means the hostel's fault. Highly recommended!

Great to have a giant drawer under each bed to keep everything. 10 bed dorm had lots of space. Really good facilities and easy to arrange trips etc with the staff, who will get you a discount if you ask nicely. Definitely the best hostel we stayed in on our whole trip!

Amazing hostel wish every hostel was like this. Very clean and really friendly. Beds were good had your own locker under bed which can be locked. Had such a nice stay here would come back again and again

Pak Up is so fantastic that we ended up staying here twice! By far one of the nicest hostels we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Amazing value for money and very clean and has everything you need in Krabi!

The woman at the reception was extremely rude and unhelpful... I have rarely seen such an outrageous behaviour! The rooms were horrible and the atmosphere somewhat bizarre... so I decided to pack my stuff after 10 min and asked for my money back (although I had already paid 10% via hostelworld)! I would recommend to avoid this place, it has been by far the worst experience during my Thailand trip...

AMAZING HOSTEL !!!!!!!!!

This has got to be the best hostel I've stayed in so far in 3 months of travelling SE Asia. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are immaculate too. What makes this place so good is that the staff are super friendly, there are also two bars in the hostel - one at the bottom of the building called 'The Playground' and a Sky bar at the top of the building. It's a great place to meet people but the bars are well away from the dorms so that it's possible to get an early night!
