The bar out back was the best part. Other than booked tours i found krabi town to be rather boring

So I have 500 characters to write a review about Pak up.. This is nowhere near enough to express how amazing and awesome this hostel is. They have a common area for everyone to hang out in with a HUGE tv with 100's of movies to choose from. The staff is extremely accommodating, welcoming and nice (love you guys!) ! The place is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN as they clean the rooms and common area every morning. Basically to sum it up, Pak up has everything a hostel should have but much much more!!!!

Very sociable hostel with nice upstairs bar where most people congregate on an evening.

Cool hostel, nice bars. Good for meeting people. You can get cheaper in krabi town but this is a better vibe. Krabi town is a boring place though, more a transit town. Verdict: hostel is very good, krabi town is boring.

Pak Up is a great hostel! I would recommend to anybody planning on Krabi town.. Close to the weekend night markets and ferries to Railay and surrounding beaches. Even with the curfew in place there was a cool social vibe if you wanted to hang round and have a few quiets and a good yarn with fellow travellers.

Great hostel with great facilities - laundry machines, pack lockers, activity setup and motorbike rental. Dorm rooms had a/c for a reasonable price. Good atmosphere, two bars in the hostel with events every night, but not overly loud for those seeking some quiet.

Very clean, comfy beds, good amenities

Great hostel- the best one in Krabi, shame the reception staff are quite rude and lack customer service skills.

Very nice hostel with rooftop bar and nice people there, go in without hesitation;)

Great location and a really nice building with lots of quirky paintings and pictures. Friendly staff and comfy beds with massive storage lockers underneath. Oh, and I really liked the rain showers too!

Been traveling for a while nice to go somewhere with nice comfy bed and blanket and good ac. Staff could have been a little more friendly, seemed bored to be there.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at in the world - perfect location in Krabi Town near good food and the boat dock and night market. Krabi Town is a great non-touristy alternative to Ao Nang with fantastic food. Good coffee shop and spa attached to Pak Up, as well as Playground Bar and Rooftop Bar in the hostel itself, which are the only real shows in town. Strong AC, blazing fast wifi, big wide soft beds, solid bathrooms, cleaned regularly, and often full so plenty of new people to meet!

Best place to stay in Krabi Town.

Props for the strategic location, great atmosphere and just the fact that everything here feels and appears clean! The hostel is within walking distance of any place of interest within the neighborhood you'd need to get to. Easy come, easy go. Would stay again if I had any reason to return to Krabi Town.

Really modern hostel with two bars attached. Good atmosphere despite being low season.

Pak-up itself is a great hostel, clean and nice accommodations. The bar staff isn't quite the nicest. That said, I wouldn't recommend staying in Krabi Town, I don't understand why it's turned into a little backpacker town, there's nothing special about it whatsoever. The weekend market is alright, that's about it. Go to any other city. If you must stay in Krabi, Pak-up is your best bet. Rent a scooter and get lost in the country side, the mountains are beautiful.

Great place! Wifi was dependable, close to the boats. Would definitely recommend.

This hostel looks really great, there are two bars and lots of common space. The rooms are large and beds comfortable. It does seem to have a lot of cleaning going on but, it seems like it is quite superficial. More attention needs to be paid to the areas that are not in constant use or on show. For a very large hostel with 2 bars there is no food. And also no air con in the common areas. You can hire scooters to travel around which u will need. Wifi is very poor. Staff very helpful
