If you r searching for a good (no, for a perfect) place to stay in Budapest, Pal's is this place! We were staying in the apartments, which has 2 rooms, fully equipped bathroom and kitchen and located in the centre of the city with great view of St. Stephan Cathedral. The stuff was very friendly and attentive and provided us with really useful information about the city and places to go. Seriously I can't imagine what can be better. Definitely will stay here on my next trip to beautiful Budapest

If I am going to Budapest I always stay in Pal's, as it's the best kept 'secret' there. Good value for money, and nice people running it. See you next year:)

You have to stay here!! The staff was amazing loved the personal attention. When we first arrived they carried our bags to our room and let us relax before checking in which we really appreciated. Even booked our tickets to the thermal baths & arranged a taxi for us to get to the airport. We stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom which was very clean. Plenty of hot water. The location is perfect right next to St. Stephen's Basilica and just a short walk to trams, buses, and metros.

Nice! A place to remember for me! The location is perfect: restaurants, supermarkets & public transport is 5 min away. The only bad thing is clock of the basilique :) so people.. make sure you drink enough to avoid the annoying noise!

Pal's was one of the most clean and nice hostel I ever been. The location is very good, you can know the center of the city by foot. And it's very close to the subway if you want see another parts of Budapest.

Not so much a hostel as a series of apartments- ours was about a block from the main walking area/St. Stephens, which is also where the hostel office is. The apartment itself was very large with a full kitchen, though we never ran into anyone else, so if you are looking for a "true" hostel experience, you might want to look elsewhere. But in terms of a big, clean apartment right in the center of town, you can't go wrong here.

Fantastic location. Super clean. Owner could not be more of a nice guy! Definitely recommend staying here. Again: Location. Central as, right near the main underground stop. A bit quiet, so not a party hostel, but for us as a couple it was perfect.

Great place , staff were so helpful and went out of their way when one of us got sick. Perfect location and in really good order. Only thing I'd say us the directions to the reception weren't great so make sure you take a map!

This is not a hostel -- it's a chain of apartments. My boyfriend and I got our own apartment in the center of the city and it was great! The staff was very helpful both before and during the trip. They gave us great recommendations of things to do and even though they were in a seperate office, it was right down the street so that we could've gone or called for anything. Great price! I would definitely recommend people to stay there who want a more private getaway than being in a hostel.

I used Pal's Apartments and had a lovely time. It was so nice to have our own apartment with wifi where we could spread out and be comfortable. I usually like meeting people at hostels, so I rated Pal's Apartments down for "Fun" because we didn't have roommates or meet people in the lobby, although I was quite alright with this. Everything about the apartment was great for us-- we had our own kitchen and bathroom, and the location on the square was perfect. The staff was really helpful, too.
