Very good hostel for the value, defo recommend to everyone!

This hostel is just excellent. You get extremely good value för money, location is just perfect, and the staff's very helpfull and kind. There's no breakfast included though, but hey, with Hungarian prices on food, you can easily treat yourself with a nice breakfast out each morning! I recommend Pal's hostel to everyone!

No words suffice to thank the staff of this hostel for their kindness and attention. They really made my stay in Budapest an amazing time. Cheers!

It was excellent.

We stayed two nights at Paul's Hostel and it was great! The double bed room was located in other apartment, where they do laundry but don't worry its not problematic ;) The room and bathroom were so clean, the kitchen well-equipped. We also got useful information about sightseeing and good restaurants in Budapest. Really recomend this hostel!

Great hostel, the double rooms are like a private apartment. Very clean, very nice and big room, great location (10 meters to the cathedral, really!) and helpful and nice staff. The best hostel i´ve stayed ever. Only cons is the internet is quite slow though.

Probably the best hostel stay you can ever imagine. Good locaton and a friendly staff that took the time to introduce my friends and I to the town when we first arrived. We stayed in one of their apartments; it was very clean, spacious and had an amazing view over the Basilica church. Amazingly cheap as well. Don't hesitate to book your stay at Pal's. I will definetly return there.

We really enjoyed our stay in Budapest. First of all we really appreciate the kindness of Pal's Hostel staff (in person, by mail and phone), they always tried to help us and make easier our stay there. The apartment was clean, well heated and with a huge window that let us see the basilica. Perfect. Everything was simply perfect.

Fantastic apartment right next to the Basilica which is about as convenient and central as you can get in Budapest. Staff were super helpful - Robert was waiting outside in the snow for us when we arrived to help us with luggage and to check us in. Couldn't fault these guys and would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

I reserved via HostelWorld a private triple deluxe room and was amazed that it turned out to be an apartment right in city center!! It was perfect! We were close to sightseeings, bars, restaurants and clubs! The staff at the office was really polite and friendly! I absolutely reccomend them.

the hostel is centrally located, it is convinent to travel anywhere from the hostel. I will stay here next time when I visit budapest.

Excellent staff, helped a lot with tips (about restaurants, buses, subways...), maps... We had a problem with the shower heater and they called someone to fix it immediately. Everything extremelly clean: kitchen, towels, bathroom... Excelent location, couldn't be better... for me :) It is an old building but things were recently painted... and work well.

Very well located Hostel in the middle of the city. Very clean and good a good value of your money. Perfect for a couple to get some cheap private nights.

The only thing that bored us was all the stairs to go to the room.

Only good things about Pal's; they were totally helpful and accommodating, storing our bags and ordering us taxis on the last day. The wifi didn't work but we didn't need it and didn't ask for it to be fixed. They were super helpful and would have helped if asked, I'm sure.

One of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Extremely friendly staff who speak good English (which I found to be rare in Hungary). The hostel is in the city center on the main square where all metro lines cross. Rooms are huge, very bright and colorful and the atmosphere is great, you feel at home immediately. Very clean, good heating system in winter, kitchen in the apartment fully equipped (fridge, microwave, stove ...). You get everything for a good price, would definitely recommend.

it isn't a hostel in tne usual way, we stayed in an appartment. It was very clean and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of our appartment was perfect. The only inconvenience was that our apparment was used to wash the sheets and towels of all the appartments and for that reason the cleaning staff was coming in and out all the time during the day. We recommend it!

Very nice staff and next to the basilica :-) The only think was the gas-oven that won't let you sleep very well because of its noise.
