One of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Extremely friendly staff who speak good English (which I found to be rare in Hungary). The hostel is in the city center on the main square where all metro lines cross. Rooms are huge, very bright and colorful and the atmosphere is great, you feel at home immediately. Very clean, good heating system in winter, kitchen in the apartment fully equipped (fridge, microwave, stove ...). You get everything for a good price, would definitely recommend.

it isn't a hostel in tne usual way, we stayed in an appartment. It was very clean and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of our appartment was perfect. The only inconvenience was that our apparment was used to wash the sheets and towels of all the appartments and for that reason the cleaning staff was coming in and out all the time during the day. We recommend it!

Very nice staff and next to the basilica :-) The only think was the gas-oven that won't let you sleep very well because of its noise.

The apartment I had through Pals was fantastic! My friend and I felt like we had a small slice of heaven in the location and scenery. The staff at Pals were very helpful and knowledgable of the area and things to do. We plan to return to Budapest and definitely stay at a Pals's location.

A perfect place to stay in budapest! In the center of the old town for a very very fair price. Also Clean and with a very friendly staff!

The shared bathroom could use some new tiles in the shower as it was a bit moldy in the grouted areas near the windows. Also the shared kitchen was always dirty with the staff or other patrons dishes... so we never ended up using it. Perhaps if it was cleaned every day this would be an all 4-5 star place. Otherwise this hostel was great, felt safe and was relatively clean everywhere else and right near the central Metro station which made it super easy to get around town. Good Value!

Great hostel!! The staff are absolutely amazing and we had the most awesome time staying here!! Felt really homey and was a pleasure to stay at! This is the only place I will stay in when in Budapest!

Right at the heart of the city, the loveliest city I have ever been, the staff were just lovely, you couldnt ask for more.

It was very nice staying there. We have never seen cleaner bathroom:) The location in the center of Budapest is just perfect!

The bed and pillow not very comfortable. Had strange pillow cases on the pillows. The space was fine but very ordinary.

We stayed in one of the apartments, which was right beside the basilica. This is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in in my life, hands down, and probably the best value for money I will ever get in my life. If you are going to Budapest, stay here. The apartment was huge. The staff was amazing and helpful. I can't think of a single negative thought. The location was great. The recommendations of things to see were great. Stay here, seriously.

Great place to stay. Central, clean with nice kitchen. Friendly and available staff. Perfect hostel.
