This place really wasn't very pleasant! One of the staff members was really unhelpful-asking for anything came with an abrupt 'no'. The room was very basic which is fine, but the bunk beds were really old, not sturdy, with no ladder to climb up top so getting on and off the top is tricky and if you're underneath forget sleep! The atmosphere isn't good, the blocks are divided so it's hard to socialise. The kitchens were so dirty and nothing works, all blocks had appliances that didn't work.

The Fridge in our aparment was full of gone off food and had not been cleaned for what looked to be a considerable time. There was rice on the shelves in the bedroom. The key cards did not always work, we were told they were sensitive but as reception closed at 7pm this was not acceptable. You had to wake up anothe person staying in your apartment to get into you room. It could be a great hostel but needs work!!!

generally quite good, but they had no wifi even though they advertise free unlimited interent. Their internet was 'down' and they didnt know when it was going to be fixed. Good place to meet people if you're going to fraser island

Spotless, but it got annoying to be woken up everyday by the cleaning lady barging into our room asking if we were staying (something she should know already...). Close walk to the Esplanade and the beach, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Pool is clean but more chairs would be good as the floor is boiling during the day. Super helpful staff.

everything was great but the cooker in unit 8 needs fixed plus a kettle would be nice too!
