This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The facilities were excellent, Large Kitchen, free wifi and internet, cinema and a swimming pool. The hostel was very clean and had a updated feel about it. Even the courtesy bus seemed new. Breakfast was also included which was welcome. Staff were friendly and very helpful and knew my name within a day. The only drawback was that my dorm room had no air con. Luckily temperatures were quite low at the time I stayed. Overall highly recommended.

This was the worst hostel i have ever stayed in. We arrived just after 9 and went straight to our room. the room smelled of petrol and there were no bed sheets or even a pillow. The mattress was old and mouldy. The lock on the door didnt work and anyone could walk into the premises from the street. we tried to stay awake till the reception opened at 6.30am to check out but we fell asleep to be awoken by a thief in our room. worst experience ever. Staff didnt even apo;ogise about our experience!

It was very unclean and noisy so you could'nt sleep at night before 12h. The room was very hot and uncomfortable. After arriving to Hervey Bay from a tour to Fraser Island we were told to collect our key from a carpet in the main entrance cause the reception closes at 7pm! there was a key for us but in the middle of the night at 2 am a girl came into our room saying her bed was where I was sleeping. How can it be? I had to sleep with my friend in a very small bed. THEY DON'T DO WELL THEIR JOB.

The staff at this hostel were very nice but it was hardly a palace. It was extremely warm when we stayed there and there was only a small fan to cool the entire dorm room, there were dead cockroaches on the floor, the kitchen was grubby and dirty. It would be very easy for someone to break in to the rooms on the bottom floor as there were sliding glass doors leading on to a lane where anyone could walk down. We moved hostel after the first night. could be much nicer.

It's cute and has a perfect location. Bathrooms were clean, kitchen not- but that point depends on your roomies...all in all it's a well structured hostel but developable...pool is cool but the surroundings (garden, bbq...) are not very clean. Staff was friendly. I would go there again!
