doors to the rooms can only be shut with a very loud noise (from the outside). Quite loud during night time (other guests on floor and lawn)

The receptionist was perfect, kind and very helpful. Despite the fact that it is located a bit away from the city center, buses 46B/146B may take you directly from hostel's entrance to Ottakring station (U3 line) and be within 10 mins in the historical center. The view from the hostel is breathtaking indeed - you could see the whole Vienna city!

Our room and bathroom were clean, beds very comfortable. We liked the city view from our hostel, and also enjoyed the surrounding, beautiful nature with forest and fresh air. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay, despite the half-hour or so it takes to get downtown. The main wait was outside the hostel. The neighborhood is forested and the homes there are beautiful. I was surprised at the huge buffet selection of great things to have for breakfast. I've never seen so generous a hostel before. The staff were helpful and friendly. The recreation room needs more furnishings. WIth a large room like this, and only one small sofa and one chair, it looks empty. Clean too.

A really good hostel, stunning view across Vienna and conveniently placed for transport links into the city. It was nice to be somewhere quiet. Very clean and a decent breakfast; would recommend!

Could not use kitchen facilities, which was difficult as it was so far out of town. Te location was not very good. Having said that, it was one of the cheaper hostels around, so Maybe you get what you pay for. The one good thing i would say is that. It is a very generous free breakfast

Really very good hostel...especially if u compare price to what u are getting:)...very good food with a lot of healthy options..nice atmosphere...only 1 minus is that the hostel is not in the city centre, but anyway it is easy to get there and sth like 25min from cenre. i really recomended it - i was in a lot of diffrent hostels but that one had a best conditions and it was so cheap!!!

breakfast is good. It's good to have free parking. We thought it's quite far from the city when we arrived, cuz it's kind of in the mountains. But actually the bus stop is close to the hostel, quite convenient. And it's good to have another view of Vienna, more natural, peaceful and beautiful.

Great for vacation, incredible view over Wien, clean, friendly, though really empty in the winter. It must be astounding in summer! Free parking just metres from the house. Will return. Breakfast is average, but organic.

The Palace hostel is one of the nicest places i ever slept. It is placed on a hill at the side of vienna. You have a great view above the town. The rooms are also very good. Best Value for your less money!! The staff is excelent and they do there very very best. The breakfast is amazing.... i only missed eggs. Most food is "bio"! The only thing i only dont like was the fact, that you can book a doublebedrooms, but they only have 4 bed rooms..

We recommend this hostel. It's a good family hostel. We spend a night here 3 adult and a child 3 years old and it was super. Silent, clean, breakfast included, no extra charge , cool view over the city, bus in front of the hostel, free parking area. When we turned back from our trip this hostel was full. Very very good.

Beautiful location, great view up hill. Free parking. Very friendly staffs. It's a bit far from the city (need to get on bus & tram, but it's quite easy). There is no internet in the room but there is in the common room. That's where you can meet and talk with people. All room are with bunk beds (doesn't matter double or twin), but it was perfectly fine for us.

Even though this hostel is out of the way, it might be a good option due to the wonderful view of the city and the building's history. Apart from those qualities, it's an average hostel clean dorm rooms and laid back staff. One of the few disappointments was that we had to go downstairs to use the WIFI.

This was the best place ever stayed during all my vacations. Just near to the central station with many restaurants near by, super market was just 10mins away. A very good place to stay for a budget price. Will recommend everyone to book here for their next Budapest trip.

When booking a 2bed suite i expected that i booked double bed room instead it was 4 bed double deck. This could be mentioned somewhere when booking.

Beautiful little hostel, only 20 minutes by car from the Main train station, worth evry euro though just to have the lovely surroundings. Breakfast is also great, lots of Variety and it caters to people with diet reqs beautifuly. Lactose intolerant companion was really happy :) Staff friendly, good humour, only stayed one night, but already planning to go back there. Don't get confused with the Hotel next door, but if you do it's only next door.

Excelent hostel, very good breakfast for 17 Euros/room/night. The only thing is the location cause is a little bit far from downtown (15 min by car), but we had a car so it wasnt a problem, using the bus I dont know how much time it will be to downtown.
