If you want to have a fantastic view of the city, the location is perfect! But, if you are the type who prefers being closer to a supermarket then its not likely for you. Anyway, it was pretty easy to get to the city center, within 25 minutes by bus and subway. Breakfast was AWESOME!

its location is not that good and takes some effort to get there but it does offer a nice view of the city since it's situated atop a hill/elevated ground. didn't really get to appreciate the view much though since i went in winter and daylight is really short. the staff is really helpful and friendly!

Wow! To stay on the grounds of the Schloss Wilhelmenberg and the former home of the Vienna Boy's Choir was quite amazing. The hilltop view overlooking the city of Vienna was one of the most beautiful in the world. The value for this lodging cannot be beat! And, the constant bus service just outside the main entrance was convenient, and made for efficient touring. I also liked the wide and length of the bunk beds (very roomy), and the linens were definitely a step above the average hostel.

we were missing some common kitchen facilities such as microwave oven, kettle etc. On the other hand breakfasts were brilliant!!!! Also I missed some socialising room- lounge, bar or something like that.

Helpful and very friendly front desk staff. Very clean, beautiful quiet country location a quick bus ride to the ottakring train station then 15mins into city centre. Need to do something with the lounge area, depressing atmosphere but the table tennis was fun. Some great hiking around the hostel. Needs a kitchen for guests. Not even a kettle to make a cup of tea? Strange for a hostel. Need a fridge too.

Good things: Parking and a good breakfast included, the beds are comfortable and it has a beautiful view of the city. Bad things: The location is not so good, it is near a bus stop but the bus works just until midnight, so if you have plans to get out at night, this hostel is not the best option. There is no place cheap to eat near the hostel, so you have to eat before go back to the hostel.

Lovely, peacefull place. Sometimes it's good to be far from the City and it would be perfect if the city is Wien and if you have a wanderful landscape of it.

Upon arrival there was no one at reception we had to go hunting for someone. Atmosphere was non existent, and this hostel needs to decide if its going to have an age limit because we were constantly woken by screaming child at 5am in the morning. The breakfast wasn't as good as everyone raved about, and although the location is beautiful its not central to going out.
