This is a budget hotel in downtown Amman. It is a bit rundown and needs some renovation, but this seems to be the case for Jordan in general, unless you suck up and pay for high end hotels.This is a budget hotel in downtown Amman. When you sign on to the internet, it shows time accrued and, next to that, amount charged. No matter how much you use, it always says, "$0.00," so it was a surprise to be charged at the end of our stay. Maybe it was our misunderstanding, but they should make it clearer when you check in. Also, there are no double beds, despite what they promise, it's just 2 singles pushed together with a gap in between.

The staff were not very welcoming and seemed bored and disinterested. I could not recommend this place. Not a good introduction to Jordan. Overall a great stay at the Palace Hotel in Amman... the staff was very helpful in booking our day tours to Juresh and Dead Sea with them. overall, the place was clean with excellent service.
