a bit outside the centre of the city but once you work out the public transport it is managable. there are great views of the city and sunrise is amazing. it is definitely not a party scene as most of the guests are young families or school students.

Definitely designed for families, just place to sleep, nothing special. Staff wasn´t very friendly at the beginning. Free internet, but we couldn´t open links so it was impossible to check traintimetables etc. But then guy in the reception printed us some information. Free breakfast was big plus. And the view outside of the hostel.

It's a bit far out of town, from Ottakring you want the bus 46B not the tram which is number 46. That was a bit confusing. Apart from that the view of the city was magnificent, and there's a restaurant 50m down the road that sells the best Vienna Schnitzel in the universe. The place is clen and the beds were comfortable. There wasn't a TV, let alone any free gaming, in the "chill out room", only a jukebox and a table soccer set with a few couches.

This place was clean, but way too expensive and far away. It does offer a nice view of the city, but you have to take a train and then a bus to get there, which can be expensive if you go into the city everyday. If you stayed at the hostel you would be really bored. I was disappointed because I was expecting a nicer place for what I was paying. The beds were very uncomfortable and breakfast was average. I left after one night and stayed in the city in a nicer hostel for less money.

It was very clean and the location is BEAUTIFUL - probably even moreso when the leaves fill in and the weather is warmer - although it is far from the centre. I was glad I stayed only one night and could enjoy the trails and fresh air and beautiful view before heading into the centre and staying for the more urban experience. Very clean! Free Internet was so nice too.

a had a great time at this hostel. most of the staff was really nice and friendly, the free bavarian beer tasting was great, and the prices are super cheap. the downside was you only get one key per room that magically disapears often. plus the rooms are pretty dirty.
