We stayed arrived late at night and stayed one night at the location nearer the main strip. The room was basic and was quite noisy. The next night, we moved to the location 7 blocks from the strip. Much quieter, nicer room, though it was beneficial to rent bikes to save us from having to walk 8-9 blocks to get anywhere. Pierre was a great host! Would recommend this hostel would definitely recommend requesting the farther location, which is set in a beautiful garden.

Très bon accueil, petit déj léger mais agréable (et traditionnel), le dortoir est joli et typique, lits accompagnés de moustiquaires..Situé à 5minutes de la gare de bus, il manque juste un accès cuisine...

it's a very small familiar place and the owners are really friendly and helpful. it has a good location in town, but this means that you have to rent bikes to reach the beach. breakfast is like so often mentioned allways great and very various. our accomodation was very simple, but spacious, clean and absolutely appropriate for the price.

Really tasty breakfasts in the morning. It\'s in a nice, fairly quiet part of town, where all there is to hear in the middle of the night are cats and birds. It definitely has a rustic feel that not everyone will love, and is quite small with few guests, but it was altogether fairly pleasant.

Excellent hospitality, Pierre is a wonderful cook and he made us delicious breakfasts each day with fresh squeezed juice. The rooms are cute, and the garden makes you feel like you're in a sanctuary. The only downside is that the location is a fifteen minute walk from the main avenue, but if you have a bike its no problem. All in all, this is a great place to come home and relax after a day of recreation/sightseeing/beaching, etc.

Pierre made a nice breakfast each morning and chatted a lot about Mexico etc. Also the room was very big. However the mosquito net was not big enough to cover the bed so we ended up using the one we brought with us as well. The 2nd location where we stayed is a little bit off the main street about a 10 min walk or so. Finding a scorpion in the bathroom on the 2nd morning was exciting but Pierre dealt with it quckly. We felt it was over-priced compared to other places we stayed in Tulum.

Very good! Dora is wonderful. She speaks perfectly English and is happy to help. I was ill during the days we were there, turned out she worked as a dokters assistent in New York, so she provided the best care I could wish for. She also makes good breakfasts with fresh orange juice. Its easy to find, just follow the instructions she sends via email. its a 10 min walk from the ADO bus station. It is located in a street pararell to the main street on the side of the ADO station.
