For a low budget hotel Palau Vittorio Emanuele 2 goes to the top of its league. We could not possibly have expected more: it was charming, clean, had the best location. Bathrooms were shared, but they were nice and very clean.

We had a great stay at Palau Vittorio Emanuele! The room was cosy with TV, safe, balcony with furniture and the bathroom was big & clean! Vittoria was great, gave us useful information and told us to call her whenever we needed help! The location is very good, too - 200m to the historic center/harbour of Alghero. Nice coffeebars around to have breakfast! A stay at Palau Vittorio Emanuele is very recommandable!

Nice, clean and comfortable hostel really close to the centre of Alghero. We had a quite big room with a little balcony overlooking the main street, cute! The bathroom was super clean and spacious and the staff that came to explain everything to us was very friendly. We really recommend this place!

Great place, location is very close to the old town, which is fine. I had to move out because I couldn't get the staff to bring me a heater and it was very cold. I must say I was there for Easter, but if I was going back to Alghero on summer i would not mind staying there
