In Alghero, I think this apartment is the best option if you are not alone or with a group. It is cheap, close to center and beach, clean etc. However, you have to consider that you have to pay extra 50 euros for additional coverage.

Great place to stay- as long as you're aware of the hidden fees beforehand for cleaning and linen/ towels. I booked a room with 2 single beds, however we got there and it was a double- we were told there were no twin rooms by a staff member. Overall, great place to stay- 10 mins walk from beach and right on the edge of the tourist district. Excellent value
