It is really loud if you don't stay in room Number 9 or other rooms away from the street. Everything else is good.
Comfortable beds, great showers, big rooms with wifi and breakfast; all situated close to the train and a stones throw from most of the town. For the price, we were all pleasantly surprised with the amenities of this place. . However... When checking in, we were told that every morning breakfast was in the common room and was included with the room. Upon checking out we were asked how the breakfast was, then demanded to pay 4€ a head for it, not worth the 36€ for stale brioch and instant coffee
The staff was so friendly and our private room was lovely! Nice big windows and great views of the city. There is a great lounge and the bathrooms were clean too. The staff was so friendly and helpful!

It was very good to stay there (it's my 2nd time in Palermo, and my 2nd time in this hostel). The room is really big, which is great. The location is very good as well. Nothing to complain about the place!
Noise from the streeet, all day and all night long. There is no sleep in this hostel.
Excellent location, comfy beds. Staff not as helpful as in other hostels but were very polite. There may have been an extra fee to use kitchen, some other residents were told this, we were not.
Reception closed for large part of afternoon.
Fantastic location, beautifully clean, helpful staff and the bathrooms were spotless. Would highly recommend here to all ages. It is a hotel really, not a hostel and the complementary breakfast was wonderful.
Location is superb, can t be better, the place itself is a bit shabby but ok for the money, everything is clean and the dorms are spacious, the girl at reception is helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend the place.
The hostel was very central, but on a very busy crossroads so the noise from the traffic was immense.

This is a great place to stay. We got moved up to a private double room for the same cost! We were only there one night but definitely could have spent more time. It's a good location right by the train station and the staff were very helpful.
The location was very good, very close to Vucciria market. Our room was pretty big, but my bed was broken. The reception program is very short, during mid day there's nobody at the desk. The small kitchen was for staff only.
The cleanest and best "hostel" I've ever visited! This is actually a hotel and I didn't know that before I arrived so I was sooo gladly surprised :) Beds were soft and clean, never slept this well in a hostel. Location is excellent. It's only a short walk from the railway station and all the shops and places to see are really near. Only problem is that the reception is closed during the daytime.
Historical building, a short walk from the train station, close to side streets with street food and eateries (e.g. on Saturday night).
The hostel is just in the center in the city, so it's quite noisy, but on the other hand you can get easily to every place in the city. On TV there was some weird equipment that looked just like a camera - so I am not sure, if rooms aren't monitored. Just in case, we have switched that off. I would recommend that place to stay in Palermo.
A good one! Comfortable, spacious rooms with only 4 (non bunk-)beds. But...I've never been to a Hostel were there's no staff or go-to-person from 8pm until the next morning and you have to pay for kitchen use... Strong traffic noise to be noted as well. All in all a good deal for 18 Euros a night.
