This place is in a great location. We stayed a few nights in a double room which was comfortable and spacious. you have to pay an extra 3 euro for breakfast which includes coffee, biscuits, sliced bread, ham, cheese and juice. It was ok value, and handy if you like to eat first and go out and do stuff afterwards instead of looking around palermo for somewhere to eat. Staff were kind of lazy, breakfast was very late to be served one morning.

This hostel is in a fantastic location. It is very clean and felt safe when we were there but there is rarely any staff around.

Keeping in mind its price and conditions given, this is definitely one of the best hostels in Palermo. Perfect location (few steps from Via Roma, which is one of two main streets of Palermo downtown together with Via Maqueda, but, unlike the latter, is relatively clean and safe), spacious and clean rooms, helpful staff. Maybe could provide lockers.

We stayed in he room close to the main road and it was quite noisy during the day and also at night. There is no fridge or any common room for cooking or neither the self-bar automat. It was also not possibl to lock your luggage somewhere in the room. is possible to leave there luggage last day before you leave but only in the free space, in the corner of the room!!

The staff was friendly and helpful with our questions. The rooms and bathrooms were very large and well kept- the side tables and wardrobes were so convenient. Great location for the train station and other main sites in Palermo. The hostel itself was quiet (though the street outside was not). The breakfast provided was basic but still tasty (and if you supplement with your own stuff, it is very good!). I would stay here again and recommend it to others!

I liked it here. It was very central and peaceful with really nice interiors. I would recommend this place for a taste of traditional Palermo living.

Great central location with an incredible receptionist!!!! We booked for the wrong date by accident and she went through so much effort to find us a new hotel close by for the same value. Her sincere concern was so unexpected and really endearing. Clean facilities, comfortable beds, nice view, great value for your money. Would not stay anywhere else when in Palermo.

If you like taking a shower the shower facilities aren't good. Only had one shower that "sort-of"' worked.

Staff were very friendly and helped us a lot. The hostel is in the heart of Palermo, you can reach the most important tourist places very quickly. It's also a 10min walk from the central bus/train station. The hostel itself has a nice atmosphere, it's more like a flat share. The rooms were clean and there was also a television, but it was so loud, so you could hear the chaotic traffic of the main streat of Palermo. All in all it was a nice stay, for backpackers excellent! :)

Pros: location, quality of the beds, staff, possibility of leaving your stuff at the reception during the last day when you already gave back the keys. Cons: No breakfast, some shower didn't work..., I would recommend it:

We had a private room for only 15 euros per person. The hostel is more like a small motel with breakfast provided for 3 euros. The staff are very nice. One speaks good english and can give wonderful tips on gelato and places to visit as well as how to get there--the other doesn't speak english very well but is also very nice. 5 minutes from the train station!

I really liked the hostel. The rooms were nice. The wifi didn't work for me the first night, but the second night it did. The main thing is that the noise from the outside is horrible. It's not their fault, but because it's a city and the wall is facing closest to the main streets, you can hear car horns and honks all night. For the price and everything though, I'd say it was a good stay.

Very nice and clean hostel. They have heater the whole day, so it is very warm inside. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and the spacious. I lost my cable plug there, but they kept it for me till my friends get it later for me.

A nice place to stay, clean and easy to find from the train station (not far). They dont have a kitchen but let me use the staff kitchen to make a cuppa. Plenty of bathrooms and hot water. They didn't tell me off when I accidentally flooded a bathroom with the shower too. Sorry again and thanks to the staff! Feels more like a hotel with shared rooms than a hostel, which may or may not be what you are looking for. SenorSunset, www.TravelFree.li

The rooms are very loud because of the 2 main streets in which the house is located. Luckily, we could change our room into one with only one window, so was a bit less noisy. So in case you need it quiet during the night, I would not recommend you this hostel. No breakfast included.
