This is one amazing hostel. The owners go out of their way to help you with everything you need and come up with ideas for cool things to do (free concerts, food fairs and other events). The atmosphere in the hostel is great and whether you're looking to meet new people or some quiet time for yourself - you'll have it there. The staff is super friendly, cool and fun. Originally I planned to stay only a few days in Cordoba but ended up staying three full weeks - thanks guys for everything!

Overall fine. However, a cleaner who is cleaning the kitchen during breakfast time and want let you in is not appropriate.

Great spaces for hanging out, very usable kitchen space, free empanadas and even lessons on how to make them! The people here were a BIG upside, Gato was an extremely friendly host and the other staff were pretty helpful too. By far my favourite thing about this hostel? JUJUY, the super sweet yellow lab that kept us company! What a chill, sweet puppy. Overall pretty dang good- the dorm could be loud but earplugs made this a non-issue and for the price it can't be beat!

The atmosphere was really great and, even though I was only there one night, the staff were really kind and helpful. They can book bus tickets for the same price as the bus station (saves walking) plus, I was lucky enough to be there for free empanada night which was delicious! Lockers in the rooms and spares in the corridors, plenty of bathrooms, big and clean kitchen and a great lounge and sundeck.

Friendly Staff & Secure Hostel. Bathrooms could have been cleaned more frequently, and too few showers per guest. Air con in dorm was not put on first not which was un bareably hot! However, The oustide area was nice. and actual dorm rooms were clean and spacious.

When I first arrived at Palenque, I was disappointed until I realized just how cheap it was. They say they offer breakfast, but they only offer cold buns and bad marmalade. Most people make something else for breakfast. The beds and rooms aren´t great. But there is a nice patio, a good atmosphere, and a comfortable TV room with lots of movies. The staff was really helpful too! Would stay there again.

Beautiful hostel, extensive facilities, welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. The location is central, everything of interest in walking distance. I would definitely recomend El Palenque. We had a great time there!

Did not feel welcome. It seemed to me that there were a group of about 7 or 8 people who lived there, lounging around all day as if they owned the place. I have already informed a few people who are going to Cordoba to avoid it.

Awesome hostel run by fantastic people. We changed our travel plans just to come back here. They hold empanada nights and asado nights which are great fun and a great way to meet people. Bathrooms were always clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Great hostel with really friendly staff that help you with whatever you need. Located just outside the centre, but nice area and everything is on walking distances. I did not want to leave.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with providing advice and arranging things that we could do around the city. The building is nice and clean. There was air conditioning from night to morning (when it is most needed). A simple breakfast of coffee/tea and bread/cookies was included. Overall I am happy with my stay and would go back if I ever visit Cordoba again. It is close to a plaza with shopping and restaurants, but there is a little bit of a walk to nightlife. Not too far out.

The mattresses in the 4 bed dorm I stayed in had some suspect stains and were sagging. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay - a good common area, brilliant kitchen and shower facilities.

Good hostel, but the breakfast is very poor (only bread and jam, no hotwater, milk, cafe, fruit, cereals etc.) Tip: dont't buy your busticket here! It's the same price as when you buy at the busterminal but less quality (only 2 stops for a journey of 22 hours, no breakfast, diner at 1.00 am, no pilow or blanket, only 1 drink etc.)We travelled to Iguazu.

For me, it's just THE BEST HOSTEL! Why?? Firstly, because the STAFF is AMAZING: friendly, helpful and doing good breakfast, asados y empanadas!=) Secondly, the hostel has a GOOD LOCATION (Centro) and is very well kept: CLEAN and NICE rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen, the dining room, the lounge and the terrace are SPACIOUS and COMFORTABLE.Finally, you can LEARN SPANISH WORDS because there are lists and stickers on the things with the name in english and spanish!^^ In short you just FEEL AT HOME!
