- bathroom needs upgrade - internet access is only good if you are near to the router (-> entrance area) - the reference in lonely planet needs defnitely an upgrade

The Palenque hostel has a certain charm. It is well located and the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are OK but were very hot on my visit and the communal bathroom could also certainly do with an update

The staff in particular at thishostel were fantastic. One man went out of his way to help us and gave us lots of tips without us even asking. Good bus service offered where they can bookprint tickets directly in reception.

The hostel is nice and really in the center. The staff is kind and always ready to help you. Just a little bit to quiete :-)
